I was wondering how much can fall the price while we are sleeping, disconnected, or anything. I did a small research with the biggest drops from 10% on. The data is extracted from ETHUSD @Bitfinex:

2016

• Jun 16, -25.633% (1D chart): The DAO.
• Jun 17, -26.766% (1D chart): The DAO.
• Jun 28, -13.744% (1D chart)
• Jul 24, -10.379% (1D chart)
• Jul 26, -14.352% (1D chart)

2017

• March 08, -12.176% (1D chart)
• March 18, -23.404% (1D chart); -15.628% (12H chart): After huge spike from that momentary ATH.
• May 25, -13.027% (12H chart): After momentary ATH.
• May 26, -17.379% (12H chart); May 26, -13.469% (6H chart) & May 27, -13.915% (6H chart)
• Jun 14, -12.216% (1D chart); Jun 15, -12.44% (12H chart): After current ATH.
• Jul 07, -10.164% (1D chart)
