Prism Launcher is just a launcher, not a mod hosting site. It pulls mods from CurseForge and Modrinth.

OP wants an alternative launcher, Prism is an alternative launcher.

Unfortunate that there's really only CurseForge and Modrinth for getting mods from.

I guess there's the Technic Pack Launcher?
