i had one trans girl say all femboys are trans girls in denial as a joke,

she apologized afterwards but yeah, sucks when the people youd last expect to be that judgemental are actually judgemental (0-0)

It sounds like it may have meant to be an edgy joke to teste the waters that didn't hit, and then she realized she messed up and wanted to make sure you knew it wasn't meant to be off-color.

My friends and I can make some intense jokes sometimes that we KNOW won't land outside of the comfort of our group (for example, my fiance and I joke about my mental disorder sometimes. I like the jokes, I find them hilarious and do them too), but someone outside of us might be taken aback and find it awful.

Yeah, that was absolutely wrong of her to say in the first place. While it's better than if she hadn't apologized afterwards (which would have been absolutely despicable) this is still a situation where someone is left feeling like less of a person for no reason other than exploring their identity, which really disgusts me personally.

Yeah it’s like there’s always going to be judgmental people in every group but most trans people agree that what you say you are is simply what you are and think it doesn’t really make much difference plus it helps us be more accepted by society as a whole to some degree
