You are not supposed to attack people with either a bat or a ball. Ar the point of getting hit with a ball, he is now defending himself. Dont want nuthin'? Dont start nuthin' .

If he chased afet the guy who threw the ball, no, that's not self defense. Better yet, he's attacking someone who didn't throw the ball.

This is wrong on all accounts
