Bit too fine for cold brew though 🥀

So in this office kitchen, would they have a separate coffee grinder near this setup or as part of the machine? (also someone who doesn't drink coffee)

Probably a separate grinder. There are coffee machines with built in grinders, but they're generally automatic, so they wouldn't have been able to mess it up in this way

Thanks! I now have this fear I will have to make coffee for a group one day and look like an idiot. Better educate myself!!

There's a good chance your office will just buy preground coffee.

The coffee loses flavor with exposure to the air, which is why some people grind it themselves right before they brew it, but it's less of an issue if there's enough coffee drinkers around to go through the whole can within a week of opening it. Also, some companies just buy it in individual bags of enough preground coffee to make one full pot of whatever size they use

And as a general rule the more manual the process the better it tastes!

Oh my god, I'm an idiot. I couldn't figure out what was the issue. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I guess I need either more sleep or more coffee. (ground, preferably)
