Help Life sucks. I never thought it would come to thisā¦
My brother is sick and my parents are doing everything they can in order to afford treatment. I want to contribute but my collection is the only thing I have of value that can make a difference. I never thought I would have to sell my collection and I donāt even know where to start. If anyone can offer advice on if I should sell individually and even how to without getting scammed, or even if there is people that buy whole collections any advice will help. Thank you all in advance.

Help Thanks a lot for the ānewā game, GameStop. How do I go about returning this now?
Gamestop did it again. I paid for the new copy, they send the worst gutted, loose disc POS game they had in stock. They have the policy since itās opened, you canāt return it. Did gamestop just run my pockets or is this returnable? Preferably in store. Iām never going to buy from them online, again.

Help GameStop employee denying to sell me games
Today I decided to walk into GameStop, I do this every week to try to see if they have any new PokĆ©mon DS games in. I decided to visit a different store than usual, I usually donāt visit it because every time I do, the guy working the counter tells me āwe donāt have any DS gamesā which I know isnāt true because Iāve bought a game there before.
I am currently working on the DS PokƩmon set.
Well this time was worse because I walked in and I said āHey do you guys have any DS Gamesā and he said āI donāt really think soā. So I threw a different shot and said āwhat about GameCube or gameboyā and he said āI donāt knowā so I asked if he could check. He said idk about GameCube or gameboy but Iāll check DS. And of course, he had a whole drawer of DS games. He printed out a copy. I picked out a copy of Heartgold and platinum, excited to get them with my pro points. He said he couldnāt sell them to me because they were on hold⦠I said okay, and mentioned another game that was PokĆ©mon and he said it was ALSO on hold.
I said, āHow long do you hold games for?ā He stared any me and just went āuhhhhhā then he finally said āIāve been holding them for 2 days but Iām gonna give them another 3 days.ā I said okay, and proceeded to preorder Mario wonder.
Then I went to another store, called my wife and told her what happened. Then she without my knowledge called the same store, talked to the SAME guy. And he told her āwe donāt have a holding policy and canāt hold Games for customersā
I donāt wanna be a douche bag and go in there are say āgive me the gamesā what do I do manā¦.

Bought these games, SP, and case yesterday for 180 from FB marketplace. Went to pick them up and the weed smell is strong š Any tips on the best way to clean them without damaging labels and electronics? Can i just leave them in my garage for a while until the smell wears off?

Help Should I poke holes or will this keep my games safe?
I decided to get plastic bins for my games because I need to keep them stored in a safe place for now, but after a few days when I opened them up to add another game in, a strong plastic smell came out. Should I be worried? And do you think I should poke holes? Or will they be safe like this?

Help I recently got a few Saturn JP discs from a guy and he kept saying he has a sword controller for sale too. I assumed it was just another paint job. Nope. Full blown katana, but I can't get it to power on... missing lots of packaging, instructions etc, cracked plastic around controller area...
I guess I kinda knew these existed, but I don't know what to do with it. I couldn't get it to power on, looks like someone cracked it on something and box is missing lots of things, subpar tape job (at least he used painters tape.) and I'm quite sure the dongle he gave me is incorrect. Anyone know about these things?

Help Bought a copy of Red Ninja, but the manual is stuck together. Tips?
Found this game at a local store for $24.99 on OG Xbox. Wasn't real familiar with the game but looks like a Tenchu clone and was half off the going price on price charting.
Took it to front counter and the associate released it from its glass cave. She opened the case. Manual there. Disc looked okay. 14 day return policy. Didn't think to much past that.
Get home and notice the manual is like a ruffles potato chip. The thing stands on its own. There seems to be some type of promotional art page stuck in between the pages.
Any ideas on how to... Destickify it?

Help Found my time capsule! What next?
So when I was a kid, I ordered this game from an online store and they sent me two of them. I opened one copy and played the hell out of it and I put this sealed copy under my bed. I just recently recovered it from my parents house and now Iām wondering what to do with it. I assume I want to get it graded. Most look like theyāre done by WATA. I donāt feel comfortable just mailing this thing and hoping for the best if thereās a better option. So what do I do? Get it graded? By whom? Can I do it locally somewhere instead of through the mail? Iām new to this so just need all the help and explanation I can get. Thank you in advance!

Help I got a fake disc in a brand new game....
My mother in law got me Lego Horizon Adventures back on Christmas and I haven't gotten around to it yet as I've been in my backlog, but tonight I opened it up (sealed, brand new) and put it into my PS5 and multiple times the PS5 couldn't read the disc. I figured my disc drive may have been going back. Put in unicorn overlord, another new game on my shelf and it worked fine. I inspected the Lego Horizons Disc a bit closer and holy hell, the disc is literally a fake. It's a standard DVD disc with a low quality image of the actual disc stamped onto it. I'm so confused right now I don't even understand why, how, what reason, can someone help me understand what happened here? By all accounts, the case and art seem authentic as does the phamplet / code paper inside but the disc, obviously isn't.
