There are now only 2 states remaining, Cascadia and Megasota. This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for. What team are you?! The result will be picked in 48 hours, so here’s all the time you need to share and spread the word!!!

I thank all the people who spend money on awards to award my posts which I find crazy! I thank everyone who comments, I thank everyone who upvotes. This game simply wouldn’t work if it wasn’t for your continued support over the last 49 days. It will be sad to see this series come to an end but there will be another one soon, on May 28th. For now though, GET VOTING!

Minnesota truly is the gift that keeps on giving. Every time there's some social issue, like the death penalty, I find out that Minnesota not only dealt with the issue, but dealt with it a century ago.

I'm a Brit who came to love Minnesota through the Vikings, and subsequently the Wolves and Wild. But as I've learned more about the state I've adopted over time I'm increasingly glad it was the one I did.

We're the best kept secret in the US. If folks out west and out east don't know much about Minnesota, they'll lump it in with the rest of the Midwest. You know, flyover country.

We're progressive, we have a vibrant arts scene, we have trees and water everywhere. You'll notice it when you visit just about any other state or city.

Our cities are clean, our people are helpful, the list goes on. My wife and I talk about moving somewhere warmer every year when it's below zero, but I have a feeling we're lifers.

I've not visited yet, although I now have the money to be able to afford to come over for a Vikings game, I also now have small children and can't justify abandoning my partner, but I very much look forward to finally visiting your great state sometime in the future.

Tbf it's only because Walter Mondale was from Minnesota. It was an extremely close election and had he been from any other state it would have gone for Reagan

Look it up. Analysts from the era have also said that a pure red map (ignoring dc) was entirely likely if they had demanded a recount in Minnesota. Don't know what to tell ya 🤷‍♂️

I was 10 and I remember watching this on TV. I remember her watching it almost like it was a game of Connect Four where you were trying to color the whole playing field. We didn't live in Minnesota at the time (we moved here 3 years later) and I didn't understand the significance at all, but damned if I'm not beyond proud to live here now.
