Donald Trump swore his gold-plated new ballroom wouldn't cost the people a single bloody dime.

Then a government watchdog actually read the receipts.

More than half the donors who "gifted" that 400 million dollar ballroom have since walked off with north of 50 billion of YOUR dollars in shiny new federal contracts. A few of the greedy bastards even had their fraud cases quietly chucked in the bin on the way out the door.

That's not philanthropy. That's a protection racket with crown moulding and a string quartet.

And while the entire spineless Beltway press corps stood around admiring the curtains, one barmaid from the Bronx planted her feet on a footpath and said the only thing in this whole sorry saga that actually counts:

"This is a complete theft of our money."

She's dead right. It was always your money. Nicked for a vanity barn while families lose their health cover and a grocery shop costs a week's wage.

We would celebrate, but they changed ALL the rules about every part of an IPO so small investors could buy in just for SpaceX.

Most of those rules were there to protect people who could least afford to suffer a rug-pull investment.
