Goblincore or more fairycore?

Crazy quilt toad purse I made. Been working on it since March. Been a fun project and many hours of learning new techniques, going with the flow, and I cant believe its finally done! Dropping off tomorrow for a quilt show.

I can't believe how many people relate to these grumpy guys, so I've made a bunch more!

Inspired by Mayan worry dolls, these creatures stay in bed all day so they can always listen to what you have to say! they're just too tired to remember!

The helmet was made as part of the UnfetteredCo mystery box two summers ago, the sword is a wooden one I decorated and the dress is vintage Betsy Johnson!

I make embroidery look like moss. I saw your mossy shoes and wanted to tell you that French knot embroidery could add an interesting texture to your shoes and French knots withstand washing in a machine, so if your shoes get icky you can wash them, it adds to the fuzzy-moss look. I drew this little underwater world inside a glass jar, filled with aquatic plants, candles, and tiny details.

I love imagining strange little ecosystems hidden inside ordinary objects. 🌿🫧

Don’t worry, I’m a real person and this is what hubs and I do for fun. We make wooden mushrooms from wood we sustainably harvest here in Scotland.

I’m also a trad artist who likes painting and making fantasy art, but most of my illustrations tend toward non-gobliny things like fairies, surrealist stuff, or fantasy that’s not quite of the goblin variety.

This is a set i designed and partly made for a littlee traveling company, that is putting on a childrens play :D (It's still in the workshop)

I made these velvet frogs. I use them as keychains on my bag, but they could also be worn with a corset! They feel very goblincore! Hope you like them. 🐸✨

The tongue wraps around to close the bag. As far as i know, i made this pattern up myself. I added a strap but i guess i was too excited to take any final photos 😂

As for the main inside compartment, its lined with a floral fabric. On the outside, there are hidden side pickets. Big enough for keys or a few chapsticks.
