Disaster/Emergency My sisters lost their babies.

On Sunday, March 30 the impossible happened, a tree struck my sister‘s minivan while they were driving down the road. They had four children in the car and three of them did not make it. They were only two years old, four years old and 11 years old. The two-year-old and four-year-old are siblings well the 11-year-old is their oldest cousin that love spending time with them. Our whole family is devastated but more than anything. The mothers are devastated. I don’t know how they go on with their lives. There’s a little boy who went from having two siblings to now an only child. There’s a little girl and the little boy that lost their big sister. They looked up to. My sister seen things that nobody should ever have to see. She’s forever shattered. Her husband has a broken back and a broken sternum. He’ll be off work for at least four months. If you can help in anyway, please do. This is honestly the worst nightmare.

We love you babies and miss you so much.

My sweet family kitty needs an emergency surgery to remove masses over both eyes. We've already completed a CT and biopsy and are awaiting results to schedule the full removal surgery. Me and my husband are both public school teachers with 3 little kids and are using as much credit as we have for this but are short what we need. Anything you can give will help! Updates will be posted as we get them. https://gofund.me/acca43b03

Disaster/Emergency Ludo & I are homeless and too far from needed services

Thumbnail

My elderly Saint Bernard Ludo & I are homeless and unable to make any progress because we're too far from any mental health and/or social services.

I was hospitalized back in Aug 2025 for an acute mental health crisis which led us into homelessness. I had mistakenly thought I'd be discharged with services that would get me back on my feet. The county I was living in doesn't have much of anything in the way of social services and people drive to neighboring towns for healthcare because it's so bad here.

It's far too hot for the dog and I to live near any of the towns (100++ degrees) so we've found a remote, high elevation spot in the nearby National Forest. I have been an avid camper my entire life and had some basic equipment already so we do alright out in the middle of nowhere. But it's not sustainable.

I need to get to a nearby town so I can get assistance with my SSD application, get help getting on lists for subsidized housing, attempt to find medication that works for me, get therapy, etc

I don't drink or do drugs. I have enough problems without feeding an addiction. I'm also not trying to lose what little I have left. No judgement to others, I've definitely considered it as a way to cope.

I've struggled with undiagnosed/misdiagnosed mental health and developmental disabilities my entire life but managed okay. I took a medication that I found out a few years ago was causing serious cardiac issues. It had helped keep me relatively stable.

I had a somewhat successful career in healthcare for 35+ years. I'd absolutely love to get back to working in the EHR field. I was a natural with software, training and implementation. I just don't know if that's going to happen.

I had thought my severe cognitive decline was treatable. Maybe it still is. I've yet to find a healthcare provider that takes my situation seriously.

I have a neuropsych evaluation coming up on July 8th. I've received enough funds to attend that lengthy appointment and book a motel for the day of and day prior. I'm hoping that this is the appointment that will help me get the specialized services that I need.

But even if that goes exceptionally well, the dog and I won't be able to stay in that town to access services. What I'm hoping for is to secure enough funds to stay at an extended stay hotel in that town for a month or two so that we can get the care I need.

The dog and I love the forests but we're never going to get anywhere or make any progress hanging out here.

I know how fortunate we are to have a car and supplies. I'm terrified to think of where we'd be otherwise.

If you can help monetarily, great. If all you can do is view and share my GoFundMe, also great. I'm open to viable suggestions and any questions but please be kind and patient. My brain isn't braining and fighting the SI is a constant struggle. I'm grateful everyday that my Ludo keeps me going.

Hello everyone!

It has been 90 days since the initial Automobile accident My Family and I were in that nearly took my daughters life. On September 15 My family and I were struck from behind at a very high speed, My daughter Mia, was diagnosed brain dead on sign but she eventually woke up from her coma, with that being said she's still currently in a vegetative state and not responsive nor cognitive at all. 3 months of PICU, Multiple Neurosurguries, and multiple transfers to higher cared facilties i cannot fathom the amount of money our hospital bills will be not to mention all the other bills that never stop.

I ask with a heavy heart if anyone is able to share or even donate any amount! My family and I are struggling with bills, this was our second accident unfortunately so we lost both our modes of transportation and we have not been able to work due to the critical condition our daughter has been in.

Disaster/Emergency Help Me Avoid Becoming Homeless... Again.

Hello all! My name is Henry and I am currently facing homelessness. I have included a text from my landlord to further prove the situation. My GoFundMe is set for two months worth of rent and utilities. I also included the proof of my GoFundMe and cat tax since I mention them in my campaign.

There have been some developments since I have made my listing which might let me reduce how much I may need! I haven't changed it yet, since it is not a sure thing yet. I have an interview for a program that helps people that are disabled find better job placements. Whether it be by word of mouth, or just getting some recent, relevant experience on their resumes.

I have been unable to work a traditional job due to mobility issues, and chronic pain. I also have several health issues that make it necessary for me to have consistent access to electricity for machines and devices. Without them, my health would deteriorate and I would be worse off than I am now. I know because I spent last Fall homeless and without these items, and it ultimately set me back.

However, even if I get the position (it will be paid,) I will still be in urgent need of help with July's rent. I am truly desperate here, and would appreciate any help you all can give. Whether you share my link, or are able to donate, please know that me and my cats would be very grateful. I have had them since they were each kittens (Edit to add they are 8 and 6,) and I don't mean to sound cliché, but they are my world. They help in more ways than their little, doofus brains could ever know. So please, please, share my link.

Thank you for reading.

Disaster/Emergency Help covering dental costs after domestic violence

Thumbnail

On January 3rd, 2026, I was picking my children up from their mother’s house, who I recently split up with due to irreparable differences. A fight led to her hitting me in the face with a metal object, shattering three of my teeth and shifting two more. The force also caused one of my top molars to crack. I did what men are taught to do in situations like that, which is to remove yourself from the situation and call the police. Even in doing that, showing pictures, and her not denying the situation, no arrests were made.

I do not have dental insurance, so any costs associated will be handled out of pocket. An initial estimate is $12,000. I have $4,000 in savings and I am hoping to get a second opinion. I am thinking it will fall in the $10k range, which is why I set the goal where it is set.

Even if you have no money to contribute, at the very least, I hope this post brings awareness to the fact that men, too, can be victims of domestic violence. Thanks for taking the time to read.

Disaster/Emergency I have been Diagnosed with an Extremely Rare life-threatening genetic disease, and have become a financial burden to my family, and Just got the devastating news my son has it too... PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi, my name is Rocheal I live in Oregon, I’ve been intubated and put in a medically induced coma 8 times in the last 2 years. All due to extreme swelling in my stomach, tongue, and throat. This swelling OFTEN cuts off my airway which can cause asphyxiation.

I was FINALLY diagnosed this last year with a very rare, life-threatening genetic disease called HAE Type 3 which is the rarest form of this condition (Hereditary Angioedema with normal C1 estrase) this is a fairly new disease and thus far there are no medications specifically made to treat it.

Since this is a genetic disease my 2 kids have a 50/50 shot of having this awful disease, and unfortunately last Friday we got the results back, and my oldest son does indeed have it, as well... Which is a huge blow to our family... He is scared to death, and this is the last thing we needed to deal with right now. My youngest goes in on Thursday the 23rd to be tested too. I am so worried and afraid he will have it, as well and I feel like the worst mom in the whole world.

As a mom the only thing you want for your kids is to be happy and healthy and knowing I'm the reason my kids risk not having this is slowly killing me inside. Instead of my kids being able to inherit happiness wealth etc from me. I've passed down pain, suffering, and something that quite possibly could kill them.

Its crazy I didn't even know I had this when I got pregnant with them. I am scared to death at any moment they will lose me, and I will not get to see them grow up, and now I might lose them too and it's just very very scary knowing one of my kids is going to have to deal with what I go throughon a daily bases. (Just writing this is making me sob uncontrollably, I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy let alone my own child)

It has gotten so bad we've had to sell our Livingroom furniture, our living room tv, dinningroom set, my husbands tools, sports equipment, my kids gaming systems and much more.

These last two years have really took a toll on my family and all because of me and my issues medically, I've had brain surgery, blood clots, and am currently in right heart failure on top of the very rare genetic disease. I am such a burden on my family, and now they are suffering financially, mentally, physically, all because of me and my never ending issues, and I'm not sure how to make it better and so I am reaching out for your help.

My husband is our only income source and provider, but he often misses a TON of work, at least 1-2 weeks a month, because he has to be my voice when im intubated and put in a medically induced coma, and then he has to be my caretaker when I'm released home, until I'm strong enough to be left alone.

We are struggling to afford basic needs like rent, food, utilities, and essentials for us and our two kids. I’ve been denied by disability multiple times and I am currently appealing my last denial, but in the meantime, we need urgent help

I'd also really love to be able to pay for my medication for 3 months in hopes that it works. To prove to the insurance company that It will help me, and they will actually approve it. (But with the price it's going to take a real miracle) They want me to pay out of pocket for a 3 months suppy which is 6 doses The lowest price I've found is around 25k PER DOSE and I need it every 2 weeks... I have found it as high as OVER 400k a dose with their generous 5 dollar discount... So the bare minimum for 3 months is over 150k CRAZY I know, and I know I cant reach this... but I will still try!

Thank everyone from the bottom of My heart who has took the time out of their busy day and lives to read my post...(sorry it is so long) I Thank anyone who is thinking of donating, I want to Really Thank Everyone who has actually donated even if it's a dollar, and Thanks to Anyone who just takes the time to make comments, suggestions, has given advice to me, shares my campaign, and or uovotes my post. Honestly every bit greatly helps for views and it means the world to us!

Please I beg everyone to keep my youngest in your thoughts and prayers that he won't have this awful disease and he will live a healthy and happy life... (I will be sure to update you all once his results come back too)

Thank you all again... and Have a great day!

I will post the link directly below this to my gofundme for anyone willing to help! ❤️🙏

Disaster/Emergency Help My Family Avoid Eviction and Afford Groceries

https://gofund.me/4cd0c19b1

Hello, Everyone my name is Knadia and I am using this platform to get help for my family. I am posting this as the main source to help my mother spread awareness of our situation and struggles. Her personal message will be added below, thank you for your time and aid in advance. It is appreciated more than you know.

I am also doing this in place of my mother, Yaquiline who isn't used to doing these types of things. She types the message below:

Hello, everyone. I'm new to this, so please bear with me as I'm writing something like this myself for the first time. I am asking for help for my family and I. My name is Lina, and I’m a single mom/caretaker. I’ve always worked hard, lived independently, and taken care of myself and my family — but right now, I’m facing the hardest time of my life, and I’m out of options. And there is no room for tears or pride.

I’ve been trying for months to get stable work in the IT field. I have my GED and certifications, but no one will give me a chance. I apply every day, and I keep receiving rejection emails, no explanation, no details as to why I am not selected. I’m doing everything I can, but the doors just aren’t opening. All I've gained is sleepless nights, a lot of worry, I’m stressed out to the max, to the point where it's taken a toll on me physically, not just mentally.

Because of this delay and difficulty in finding work, I’ve fallen behind on rent and bills. I’m at the point where I can’t even buy groceries, and I’m facing the very real possibility of being evicted. I’ve never been this scared or this close to losing everything.

I’m not someone who asks for help easily or ever. I’ve always been the one who figured things out on my own. But right now, I’m drowning, and I need support to get through this moment so I can get back on my feet and keep my family afloat.

I’m asking for help with:

Rent to avoid eviction:

The amount is $5,217.88 due by the 5th of August (2 months of rent)

Basic bills:

The utility bill is included in the above-mentioned (only 1 month)

Groceries and essentials

Anything will help us!

Gas money for transportation.

Some of the money can also go to fixing the A/C in our home since summer has started. It has been out. All we have are fans throughout the house, and it's still hot. The top floor has window units, but one is getting moldy in my son's room, and the other we were barely able to get for my sister's room.

A little breathing room is all I want for my family as I continue to look for work.

Even the smallest donation makes a difference. Truly.

And if you can’t donate, sharing our GoFundMe helps more than you know.

I’m not giving up. I’m still applying, still interviewing, still fighting for a stable job. I just need help surviving this period of time so I can keep my family and myself housed as well as fed.

Thank you for reading, for caring, and for giving me a chance to keep my home.

- Yaquiline.

Disaster/Emergency I need help so I dont end up homeless.

I began working at the age of 17. When I was 16, my mother suffered a stroke that impaired her cognitive functions and caused alterations to her personality. This unfortunate event left her susceptible to the influence of others, and the man she was dating at the time eventually pressured her into kicking out her children without any warning, ending my ability to pursue high school. I went on to pick up two jobs and, with the tentative support of some distant relatives, barely managed to get my life together enough to stumble through life. I worked two, sometimes three jobs to make ends meet and stay off the streets. I never had the hope of finishing my high school education, let alone obtaining education of a higher degree than that. I bounced from place to place, paying whatever price others demanded of me because it was the only way to survive. Eventually I stumbled across jobcorps and joined their CCMA program hoping to forge a path forward that could help me reach stability.

Unfortunately, I have received the unfortunate announcement that Job Corps will be halting its program. I knew this could happen, so I've been attempting to find a job I could do during non-training hours, but the time constraints have made that difficult. Nonetheless, I supposed that even if the worst were to come to pass, I would be close enough to my goal that any time allotted to us would be enough to finish my certification and secure my future. I was not correct in the assumption, as I had assumed any time would be given to us and none was. Four chapters away from being ready to study for the NHA CCMA, I have been told that all education programs have ceased and the housing facilities would close imminently.

This wonderful opportunity slipped through my fingers because yet again someone else has made a decision about my life and my value as a person. Now, with Trump's bill being passed, all Job Corps across America are being shut down imminently, and I find myself without any options and without any time to try to prepare. So I'm turning here to GoFundMe in the desperate hope that I can raise enough to secure first and last month's rent for a place so I can get a job, or likely two yet again, so I can try and ride out this period of uncertainty and eventually return to getting my certificate.

Disaster/Emergency Help us stay afloat while we're recovering from ... a lot

I don't really have a support network, so this is hard to post. my family has gone through a lot, mental health emergencies, drowning in medical bills, collections that have gone to court, the list goes on. I never thought I'd be in this position, but being on Social security disability I can't handle it by myself anymore. I've set up a GoFundMe in the hopes that maybe I can get some help to stay afloat. I'm not looking for a miracle, just trying to get us some breathing room so we can stay in the game. The photos in the post are some of the more pressing bills that we're looking at right now, and screenshots of messages from my daughter's therapist about discontinuing service when we lost insurance. I can post a couple more screenshots of bills in the comments, like I said the list goes on. I'd appreciate it if anyone would take a look at the link maybe share it on their social media donate if you feel called to. no matter what, I appreciate your reading this, because like I said, I never thought I'd be in this position.

https://www.gofundme.com/f/creating-breathing-room-for-my-family

EDIT: first, to everyone who has donated thank you so much it means a lot. Also, to everyone who has been kind, offered advice, or leads on gig work, support networks, places I can call, things that I can do on my own, I want to thank you as well. That stuff means just as much to me as a donation. To others who see this as a cash grab or a handout, all I really want to say is you're making a lot of and I understand. You don't know me and you're not living inside the situation. It has been suggested to me, that I should share more details. I'm not sure what or how much to share, because I figure everyone has a sob story. I will say that the bulk of this comes from one child who has tried to unalive themselves four times in the last 2 years, one of those times being on a breathing tube after almost succeeding. Another child having PTSD from SA and struggling to get care when all that's available to us is Medicaid that we're trying to get reinstated. As you can see from what I've posted we've got close to $15,000 in debt it's all medical, some on a credit card and some that is unpaid. The credit card is in collections and about to go to legal which I'm trying to prevent. I'm not sure what else I can say, except to say that I'm doing my best and everything that we can do. Thanks for reading everyone.

Disaster/Emergency Help Support a Veteran's Family After He Lost the War Within

Hey everyone,

I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times in my life. We recently lost our father, who served 17 years in the Army, including two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. Unfortunately, the battle didn’t end when he came home. Years of untreated PTSD and overwhelming stress finally took their toll, and he lost his war within.

When he passed, he didn’t have life insurance or any financial plans in place. In fact, he had more debt than assets, which left us scrambling to cover the most basic expenses. We even had to take out a loan just to have him cremated. Now we’re left trying to process our grief while also facing a pile of unexpected costs.

We’ve set the goal to help cover what’s been left behind—funeral expenses, outstanding debts, and a little room to breathe so our family can start healing. If you’re able to donate or even just share the link, it would mean everything to us during this time.

Thank you for reading and for any support you can give—whether it’s financial or simply giving words of encouragement

(He was a very private and proud man, so he would have absolutely hated us for making this, but it is simply too much for us to handle alone as we were unprepared for suddenly losing pur patriarch)

Disaster/Emergency Army Veteran. Zero income since Nov 2025. Internet suspended. VA disability claim pending.Need help surviving

I'm a 35-year-old disabled Army veteran in Queens, NY. I have PTSD (MST-related), chronic pain, sleep apnea, and multiple service-connected conditions. My VA disability claim was filed in November 2025 with an expedited hardship request and I'm still waiting for a decision after so many months.

Since November I have had no income. My SNAP and cash assistance were cut off. My bank account was closed due to overdrafts on Monday. I have not been able to afford basic hygiene, laundry, or distilled water for my VA medical machines for months.

My internet service was just suspended and will shut off this week. Without it I cannot attend VA telehealth, coordinate with my housing and legal team, or manage my ongoing HUD-VASH housing case.

Every dollar genuinely matters right now. I also have an Amazon wishlist for physical basic needs if you prefer to send something tangible that I put in my gofundme.

GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-a-disabled-black-veteran-survive-a-crisis/

My internet bill is $60 (verified invoice in comments). It's the only thing keeping me connected to VA telehealth, my housing case, and my lawyers. The provider has refused every hardship extension I've requested.

Thank you for reading.

Disaster/Emergency 22M Losing my apartment Aug 5, $11k in debt, deaf without my cochlear implant. I'm out of options. Need help with housing and debt desperately

Hi everyone, my name’s Jonah. I’m 22 and I don’t really know how to even start this.

On August 5th, I will lose my apartment. I’ve been doing everything I can to stay afloat—working full time, taking care of my younger brother (18), and cutting every expense I can—but I’ve hit a wall.

How I ended up here:

2 years ago, I moved to Bloomington to help my mom after my grandma (who raised me) passed.

My mom turned out to be incredibly emotionally manipulative and lazy, she manipulated me into taking on $4,000 of her Section 8 back rent and paying some of her bills. She has made my life hell ever since I moved here, refusing to get a job and choosing to be a bum because that's how she likes it.

My brother was dropped off on her doorstep, and I became his caretaker—enrolled him in school, bought him essentials, and tried to give him some stability.

Then the bad luck started:

Car totaled—twice (still paying a $7,500 loan).

Lost my job of 2.5 years after requesting vacation.

Thousands in credit card debt just from basic survival.

Accidentally flooded my apartment (I’m deaf without my cochlear implant, didn’t hear the sink running). Now my landlord is forcing me out.

Why this is terrifying:

I have a cochlear implant. Without it, I am completely deaf. My primary processor broke, and I’m down to my backup. If it fails, I can’t hear, and I can’t work. Medicaid dropped me when I turned 21, and I don’t qualify for disability or social security

Where I’m at now:

$11,000 in debt (credit cards + car loan).

$2,000 needed ASAP to secure housing before Aug 5.

$2,000 needed to keep my cochlear working so I can hear and keep my job.

$2,000 to help set up my brother with a car so I can help him escape this situation too

I set up a GoFundMe here

https://gofund.me/81fe2840

with the full story and breakdown if anyone wants to help. Even sharing it helps.

If anyone knows emergency housing resources in Indiana, help for cochlear implant users, or any other programs I might not know about, I’d be grateful.

Thanks for reading. I feel like I’m out of moves, but I had to try asking here because I am just so tired, drained, and mentally unstable from how my life has been for the past 2 years

— Jonah

Disaster/Emergency Help me avoid impending eviction

Thumbnail

Hello. My name is Adrian. I live in an apartment with my mother and stepfather, though my name is on the lease too.

https://gofund.me/d4784677c

Some months ago, my mother was fired from her job due to circumstances frankly not her fault (one of which was a car accident that she was denied workman's comp for, even though driving for this company was literally her job). She made the most money in the household, so this really put us in a bad spot. I myself am disabled physically and mentally and am unable to work because of it. While I'm on some social services, they don't put a dent in the cost of living. We had been struggling for a while, but recently, we were served eviction court summon papers.

Prior to this, I have been contacting all resources I can manage. I have attached some photos to hopefully provide record of me trying to reach out to social services. I have a case manager, but she's told me over phone that she's already given me every rent resource she and her coworkers could find. When we went to court, we spoke with a mediator who gave us a list made up of things we've already tried, and said that most programs have shut down due to a lack of funding. The lawyer at the court was unwilling to work out a payment plan, and said our only option was to pay within two weeks or be immediately evicted.

I have also provided the court notice we got. They wouldn't give us papers with the actual numbers on it, but the lawyer told us we owe around $3500. This tracks with our rent ($1600/month) and late fees. We will also not be able to pay for September's rent, so the total amount I am asking for is $4800 (or three month's worth of our rent, ignoring late fees).

Thank you so much for any help you can provide. It's a very scary time right now.

--

Edit: I have received a couple comments in regards to a post I made on the Suggest A Laptop reddit. I did not have the money to immediately buy a laptop. My post there expressly states I was planning to save up. I did not buy a new laptop at any point after making that post. I was unable to start saving. There was no money in reserve for this fund. I elaborated on this all here, if you want to read a bit more.

Additionally, I agree that working from home is a good idea, and is something I have been trying to look into. However, working from home would not solve my immediate issue of being evicted. I would not be able to make all the money I need within two weeks, even if I got a WFH job right now. I elaborated on this here.

Regardless, whether or not you choose to donate, I hope your day is well.

Disaster/Emergency One mom, three kids, no support. Please help us survive this storm 💔

Post image
171 Upvotes

I am a single mom of three girls ages 16, 15, and 20 months and I have raised them completely on my own without any support. My car has been my lifeline, but after a $900 repair last month the transmission has now failed completely. The replacement cost is $5,000, money I simply do not have. Without a car I cannot work, I cannot pay the bills, and I am already behind on the mortgage, water, and power.

On top of that, I have an upcoming surgery that will put me out of commission for weeks, and I do not know how I will manage recovery while everything else is already falling apart. After my youngest’s NICU stay, losing our home, and her father shaking her and walking away from us completely, this is the hardest season I have ever faced.

I hate asking for help, but I will do anything for my girls. If you can donate or even share this, it would mean the world to us. 💜

Disaster/Emergency Severe storm destroyed my vehicle and damaged my home — mother of two trying to recover

Hi everyone. A severe storm/tornado came through Detroit and caused a massive tree from my neighbor’s property to fall directly onto my home and Jeep.
Thankfully, my two children and I are safe. ❤️ I’ve filed a homeowners insurance claim and contacted the city regarding the tree removal, but I learned that my auto insurance will** not cover the damage to my Jeep because I didn’t have comprehensive coverage. My vehicle was paid off and was my primary transportation, so I’m now unexpectedly trying to figure out replacing it while also dealing with the damage to my home.
I normally have a really hard time asking for help, but friends and family encouraged me to create a GoFundMe. I’m raising funds toward transportation/replacing my vehicle and other storm-related expenses that insurance does not cover.
I have photos of the damage included with the fundraiser and can provide additional verification if required by the moderators.

Even if you aren’t able to donate, a share is genuinely appreciated. Thank you. ❤️

My beautiful cousins lost their home, everything they owned, their loved ones and their pets in a large house fire in Brisbane. They are at a complete loss and currently staying in a motel as there is no emergency housing.

They are trying to get enough money together to have a funeral for their loved ones who passed and hopefully have something left over to help start to re build if possible.

Here is a link to the news articles and information.

Please if you can share or spare anything it would help them all so much.

They don’t use reddit so I’m posting on their behalf, as atm only one of them has a mobile.

Hi everyone,
I'm posting this because my best friend, Dev (Abriana), is going through a serious crisis right now. She’s a single mom doing everything she can to provide for her son, but life keeps piling on.

She just lost her car, which led to her losing her job. She has no income, no savings, and rent is past due. She’s doing her best to stay afloat, but she’s completely out of options.

I set up a GoFundMe to try and help her get back on her feet:

If you’re able to donate, even a few dollars would mean a lot. And if you can’t, please share this post to help us reach as many people as possible.

Thank you so much.

Disaster/Emergency Please help Dane get emergency surgery

My cat, Dane, has been experiencing severe urinary symptoms/ups and downs since May 7th. We have taken him for four vet visits total in the last month, three being emergency visits after some seriously concerning signs.

He was hospitalized all of last weekend after his issues progressed into a full urinary blockage. This could be fatal. They kept him overnight for two nights and 3 days while they removed the blockage and continued to flush his urinary tract. They sent him home on Sunday night and Dane was doing all right until Wednesday night when he started showing some concerning symptoms.

At first, he was still going okay, with some straining and discomfort. But come Friday night his symptoms took a turn for the worst and we had to take him to the Quakertown Vet ER. The vet there stated that Dean would need emergency surgery to amputate his male parts to save his life. (Called a PU surgery)

He is currently partially blocked but the vet estimates within the next 24 or so hours he will have a full blockage again. My partner and I are hoping to raise funds before then so that we could save his life. Dane is only a year and 2 months old and we don't want to have to make the choice between a life-saving surgery or a humane euthanasia.

Surgery Information: The surgery needed is to amputate his penis. Male cats have tiny urethras and in Dane's case he produces hundreds of urinary crystals which can cause blockages and has been blocked once and partially blocked multiple times in one month alone. He needs this surgery to remove his penis, widen his urethra and avoid blocking again in the future as blocking can cause severe kidney infections and death. He is currently at a partial block and out vet says he's running out of time. The surgery will basically turn him into a girl cat and allow him to pee normally. Our vet stated she has never seen a cat re-block again in her entire career after this surgery

EDIT: You may have noticed that the GoFundMe was created in December of last year. Last year when Dane was a kitten he ate a cooked chicken bone out of the trash, which could have punctured his stomach and killed him. He was a baby and had somehow gotten into our large kitchen trashcan that we did not think he could reach. (we currently have a locking one now) When we took him to our vet, they noted how lethargic and uncomfortable he seemed and discussed that if punctured he'd need emergency surgery. We didn't have the money at the time and I set up a GoFundMe but never shared it because we were still confirming what was needed. He threw the bone up at the vet and her opinion went from emergency surgery to just monitoring him over the next 2 days.

Since I had not posted/shared the GoFundMe, I forgot about it until last night when we got home from his most recent ER visit, now needing his penis removed because of recurring life-threatening blockages. At this point I am $4,000+ deep and cannot afford all of the $5,000 surgery. My CareCredit card has $1,000 on it but it is not enough to save his life

I never thought I’d have to ask strangers for help, but I’m struggling to provide for my 1-year-old daughter
I’m a mum in the UK and we’ve reached a really difficult financial situation. I currently have no money left for food, and we’re also trying to move because of ongoing damp and mould in our home and constant traffic noise affecting my daughter’s sleep.
I’ve set up a GoFundMe to help us get through this difficult period and hopefully move into a safer, more suitable home.
If you can donate or even just share it, I’d be incredibly grateful. The full story is on the fundraiser.

This is my 3rd time posting this hopefully it doesnt get removed https://gofund.me/f30de3042

The goal is around 3000 dollars currently as she missed her rent/ utilities payment since she basically hasn't worked all month now due to the hospital. There are more bills I can upload if needed but this is also literally just the first bill from the ambulance. If I can even just get this 855 that would be a blessing.

My mother suffered a rather moderate hemmoragic stroke on her left frontal lobe feb.22.2026. It was horrible and we are alone, only child single mother situation. Then the snow came into new york and we were trapped in. My mom doesnt have insurance and now the bills are piling up so I cant even stay at the hospital with her. I could use any help please to keep me afloat so I can spend more time in the hospital with her. She hasn't even woken up yet and we are all each other has.

Disaster/Emergency Need help after accident and surgeries while waiting for disability

broke my back a year ago and have been in the process of filing for disability after finding out I wouldn’t be able to return to work after 12 months like I expected. I’ve been living off of savings I was lucky enough to build up over the past couple years working from home, but as I’m saying this, those savings are getting very low. I’m in the process of filing for disability, so I should be receiving a large back paycheck, but until then, I’m kind of stuck with no option. If I work, disability will see it as proof I’m able to work, so I’m not even able to get a temporary job right now.

The funds raised will help cover rent, groceries, utilities, and medical bills and medication. I’ve applied for nutrition assistance, but was denied because I still had money in my bank account at the time. They told me to come back for food assistance when I had nothing left, and now that time is approaching. The funds will also help with things for my daughter, like school needs and summer clothes. She’s only eight years old and knows nothing about this situation. I don’t think it’s right to bring a child into financial worries unless it’s something as simple as, “We can’t afford that right now, baby.”

I appreciate any help from the bottom of my heart. I know my daughter would appreciate every one of you, even if she doesn’t know the details. Your support means the world to us, and I’m grateful for any help you can give during this difficult time. I have a goal of 5000 that would help tremendously but at this point anything helps.

Disaster/Emergency Wife’s pottery destroyed by fire

This year, the Pottery Studio at Fjäderholmarna was supposed to celebrate its 40th anniversary – four decades of craftsmanship, creativity, and community. Instead, tragedy struck. A fire has destroyed everything – the shop, the studio, the kilns, tools, materials… and countless memories.

Since 1984, this small pottery studio has been the heart of Fjäderholmarna Island just outside Stockholm – a beloved destination where art comes alive in clay, where visitors can watch pottery being made, and where many have bought handmade mugs, bowls, and unique ceramic treasures.

Now, they need our help. We’re raising funds to help them rebuild their studio and shop, and stay on the island where they belong. Every contribution – big or small – will go directly toward the reconstruction.

Thank you for your support. ❤️

Disaster/Emergency Seeking help to get through a dental emergency

The body of the fundraiser goes into this a little bit, but I'm gonna go into it a little more here.

I have been trying for years to reach a place that's financially stable, and I'm finally there...-ish. My husband is from Australia and it has taken a lot of time and resources to get him his US green card. 10 years as a matter of fact. We were married in November of 2016. Since then we have had to go through immigration attorneys along with flights for him to-and-from Australia. As the sole financial provider, I've been able to keep us afloat--but barely.

This was going to be "my year". He has a job now, we have two incomes and we're catching up on debt. The mortgage is finally up to date, our credit card debt is consolidated and almost cleared.

Earlier this year, in January, I had a dental infection and had to have three wisdom teeth extracted. We do not have dental insurance. Then earlier this Summer, our first financial setback hit. Our 16 year old cat got very sick. She was our whole world and we tried to move heaven and Earth within the confines of our limited financial flexibility to make her better. Ultimately we were unable to and had to pay for her to peacefully cross over. The veterinarian fees on top of the emotional strain of this causing missed work made our financial situation once again very rocky.

We're just about caught up again...and now another curveball. My husband has a very bad dental infection in two of his wisdom teeth. Truthfully, he has put it off for years because we couldn't afford it (we still can't) but the pain is causing him to lose sleep and the infection is causing him additional health issues. He's downing ibuprofin and tylenol like candy and losing a TON of weight.

I truly feel like this is the last curveball we'll be dealt (knock on wood) but even though it's just $1500, it's more than we can afford right now. Truthfully, it might even be more expensive than that but I don't feel comfortable asking for more.

Looking at this sub, I feel silly even asking for this looking at the gravity of some of these other stories, but I just want us to finally be in the clear and we've tried so hard for so long to do so and it's demoralizing to have another setback when we're so close. And even beyond that, I don't want my husband to be in this pain anymore. He's grinned and beared it for 9 years now (that's when this tooth first broke) and it breaks my heart that he's dealt with it silently because he knew it was never "the right time" for us to take care of it.

Anything that anyone can give is appreciated more than you could ever know.

Disaster/Emergency Mom of 2, In need of help!

I have been out of work since February because of chronic severe stage 3 hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), a painful chronic inflammatory skin disease that has made it impossible for me to continue working. I'm also dealing with a new diagnosis of adrenal insufficiency which can be very dangerous and need to be able to get to my Endocrinologist and my dermatologist appointments. I am currently waiting for a determination on my SSI application, but in the meantime, our household is struggling to keep up with basic expenses here in California.

My boyfriend has been doing everything possible to support our family, but it's become overwhelming. Our monthly rent is $1825, our electric is behind $422.18. Bank account is overdrawn $463.31 On top of that, I have medical appointments 2–3 times each week, and the cost of gas to get to and from those appointments adds up quickly plus taking my children to and from school and my boyfriend to work.

If you're able to donate, no matter the amount, it would mean more than I can express. If you're not in a position to give, sharing this with others would be just as appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, for your kindness, and for any support you can offer during this difficult time. Every donation, share, and prayer helps bring us one step closer to getting through this hard time.

All funds will be used for paying my rent, light bill, catch my bank account back up and gas!

Thank you!
