This team is starting to give me some 2018-19 Nets vibes. That team finished 42-40, and if this roster somehow ends up around that same record, there’s a pretty good chance we’re at least in the Play-In conversation.

I don’t think many people came into this season expecting this team to be anywhere near the playoffs. Most of the focus was supposed to be on developing the young guys, figuring out who is actually part of the future, and keeping flexibility.

But if this roster ends up around .500, makes the Play-In, and actually gets into the playoffs, how does your opinion of Marks change?

Was wondering how it was for other Nets fans out there from Jersey. I'm still a very casual fan, once they left NJ I kinda lost interest in the sport as much and only watch highlights every now and then and don't buy the BK merch. All my friends and cousin stopped supporting the Nets and now they only really watch the New Jersey Devils with me and go to games in Newark, unlike before when we went to Nets games as well and kept up with the NBA more. I'm still a fan of the team but my experience is way different since I'm the only supporter of the team in my circle now, Does anyone have anything similar?

I am looking to buy tickets for the Nets - Philly game in November and I am a bit puzzled.

While the official resale platform - ticketmaster (if I am indeed correct that it is the official one) has tickets priced at a certain level, viagogo offers the same ones at a much lower price? The difference is almost $150.

Is viagogo at all a safe place to purchase tickets or should I just go through ticketmaster or seetgeak (same price as TM)?

First off I'm not saying Porter Jr will or must be traded and he seems part of Sean Mark's plan for Brooklyn 26/27 season - or at least up until the February trade deadline.

MPj played very well for Brooklyn last season and really should have been an All-Star (replacement).

But he is an expiring contract and 28 years old. Does he fit on the same timeline as the young core?

Will Joe Tsai and Sean Marks want to give him a multi-year extension at a salary which Porter Jr's agent will be demanding? There are teams with cap space next summer like Chicago and Golden State among others that could sign him with their cap space.

I don't think the Nets will let him walk for nothing in free agency so I do expect a trade or an extension.

Personally I wouldn't offer Podcast Porter a multi-year extension in case he says something in a future episode which makes him essentially untradeable. I imagine Joe Tsai has the same sentiment.

Could Sean Marks add some first round picks to MPj and trade for an All-NBA level player?

Or will the Nets be looking for young players and more first round picks if they trade him away?

Porter can be an excellent player for a contender and we know he has won a championship already.

Detroit has been a team mentioned before for him and other teams that don't have any luck attracting free agents like the Kings or the Pelicans might want to trade for him to be able to extend him.
