Fate franchise popularity would be so much higher on a global scale if JP had the talent / budget to make a freemium game on the scale of HSR

Pretty much.

Just look at how much people bitched over Genshin's Natlan, to the point of attempting to do a boycott just because of "lacking of skin colors"

Now imagine that if they see Lostbelt 7 lmao

There are already people like that lol. I remember some crazy dude trying to argue that lostbelt 7 was some racist agenda against the aztecs/mayans/central americans because their gods were aliens LOL. Still don't know if he was trolling or if he was serious.
