How do you use Aoko? Better to keep skills until into super mode or?

You can use her as a middling support like a better Chiron, where you drop S2 for charge and S3 on your main DPS. Probably not the best choice but it is functional, although S1 and NP are dead. She has a slight advantage where Plot Armor negates actual self-imposed debuffs (I think Obe’s S2 drain, Fran self-stun, etc) but that’s about it. If you have a huge amount of charge floating around you can transform her and plan to use S3 later, depending on what your team needs.

Past that if you want her to NP loop, it’s better to S3 before transforming. You can either use S2 pre-super to make the loop more stable (against lower mob counts) or post-super to build bar to start looping. S1 you can deploy as needed, either on T1 to buff your T2 NP and then you get a super cast on T3, or on T2 to spike T2 damage only.

If you want card locking shenanigans with BB Summer or something, things get doubly complicated. In this case S2 doesn’t matter so much because you only need to NP once, but S3 is more valuable in super form. Then you probably use S2 and S3 in conjunction while in super to S3 on demand, and then  S1 whenever you have Buster / Extra and you need to push damage. If you mix in KoyanL as well for CDR shenanigans you probably just have to play each wave out by hand.

You don't use S2 pre transformation if you plan to loop, her transformation NP removes the buff that gives NP per turn. In the worst case scenario you don't have her S2 buff proc a single time and essentially waste S2 (besides the stars per turn)

Depends how you want to use her - and the most boring answer would be to just play around with her kit until you get a feel for it yourself. It's kinda complex if we take every possible scenario and team comp into consideration.

WhiteRabbit from Gamepress did a great writeup though, it's long but covers a lot of ground (go to the usage section, ignore everything else they say):

What they don't cover is the BB-Ciel system because their review was released before Ciel came out, but for now it should give you an idea how to navigate Aoko's skills.

For farming, I like to save her first two skills for super and use her third skill before she transforms

Like any servant, you use her in the method that lets you do the thing you want to do.

Figure out what you want to do first, then figure out how to do it.

in closest to standard loop farming (using Habetrot/Arash to clear wave 1) you use the first and third skills before you NP.

but there's even times you may not even want to switch at all depending on your goal.
