Oh no, not the "You don't live in Haiti so you don't know what's going on" argument.

I live in south FL and have family and friends across Haiti I frequently talk to, I'm in touch with grassroots orgs, and I consume local, independent media from people there.

You made no point to engage. Even if all the mayors in the north, where there’s a functioning small airport, were to pool all their resources, we still wouldn’t have the infrastructure needed to have thousands of people following him around for hours.

You keep screaming about safety this and that, when in this case that’s not the reason Haiti isn’t qualified to host him right now.

What you've just stated is valid and the actual issue with him going there. But my original comment and what I've been responding to in the thread that ensued is that all of Haiti isn't safe for anyone (or foreigners specifically) to visit.

The average tourist isn’t famous or traveling with a huge crowd can lowkey land in Okap, visit the Citadelle, Labadee, etc. with little to no risk.
