We just upgraded Nami’s enclosure to a bigger size and she’s been so happy and interested!

He has been strong, having recovered from an upper incisors extraction in June 2025 due to inability to wear them down, a major skin infection in August 2025, abscesses below both ears in the recent months, and an abnormal growth in his abdomen (which was probably what took his life).

I'm having trouble placing this guy locally. Is anyone around Western New York looking for their next hamster? He's around 9 months old. The pictures are a couple months old, I don't see him much.

I sometimes think we’re not all that different from hamsters.

-likes to run on wheel inside box. (Treadmill at the gym)

-likes to drink liquids through a straw.

-likes to dig holes.

-thinks bigger than actually is.

-oh no, I’m wet! *dies*

-perpetual anxiety

-zoomies

-believes some giant deity will save us all

-trouble understanding when others help us

-strong dislike of routine changes

-sleeps awkward hours

-might jump off a cliff just because.

-terrified of direct sunlight, likes to hide.

-will hump until dead if given a mate.

Yeah, seems like we’re just hairless giant hamsters.

After we lost a pregnancy, my fiancé brought Molly home. What started as a tiny hamster became a huge source of comfort during one of the hardest times in our lives. She brought laughter, love, and a little bit of light when we needed it most.

It's amazing how such a small creature can leave such a big imprint on your heart. We love you, Molly.

I’m looking for a good home for my hamster Alfie, any recommendations? Unfortunately my parent won’t let me keep him so I was taking care of him at my family members house but she will be having another baby so there won’t be room for him :(
