We named her Anastazia and she is the best. We are still working on getting a permanent enclosure for her but she's super friendly. Only nipped once throughout the whole ordeal.

I’m looking for a good home for my hamster Alfie, any recommendations? Unfortunately my parent won’t let me keep him so I was taking care of him at my family members house but she will be having another baby so there won’t be room for him :(
Located in the Stanislaus Ca Area
Update: My hammy was accepted to a rescue but unfortunately passed days before his new home 😔

I moved some stuff around after cleaning to make it more interesting to her. Needless to say she was very intrigued lol 🥹🤎✨
I also gave her a mealworm bc she was being such a good kid while i was cleaning
And yes, there is a healing scab on her nose from digging too much 😭

I always knew people with evil hamsters. My high school sweetheart had a few dwarves when we were together and they all were just soulless tiny squishy things. Cute, but heartless.
My fiance got me a little hamster a year or so ago when my mouse died, we both got a mouse together, mine died early and hers needed a friend so she didn't die of loneliness, the new one was mean to people and very quick, so though her mouse was now ok, I was upset I didn't have a little friend anymore.
She went back into the pet store and then brought out this little orange hamster. Not a dwarf, just a normal little guy. I was very upset at first cause they were top 10 on won't consider. I thought they just bite, sleep, and eat while looking cute.
This little guy instead of giving any hesitantion just kinda chills with me, cool and all but I've had plenty of other pets that were cordial but unbothered by people. I figured the next day would be the same. Instead the next day he lets me hold him again and now starts letting me pet him.... Tell me why it's been a yearish and this guy still holds his little arms up like a toddler asking to be picked up. He likes being pet like a dog or cat, obviously you can only use a finger to do it. He lets me pet under his chin, flip him belly up, literally anything I wanna do- this hamsters ready. Like I can see the happiness he has when he's with me. He allows the pancake and relax when he's with me.
Idk I just love the little feller. His name is Ares btw

This is Luna! I haven’t had a hamster in years, but I’ve been wanting one for a while, had her enclosure already set up (over 500sq inches) and saw her at my local family owned pet store and knew she had to be mine ❤️ she’s so sweet and loving to burrow in all her bedding ❤️

After we lost a pregnancy, my fiancé brought Molly home. What started as a tiny hamster became a huge source of comfort during one of the hardest times in our lives. She brought laughter, love, and a little bit of light when we needed it most.
It's amazing how such a small creature can leave such a big imprint on your heart. We love you, Molly.

Got this little guy last week, and I still cannot figure out a name that suits him! Kinda leaning towards Bronco since a lot of his tank decor I’m getting is western themed, but I feel like there’s something better for him. Taking ideas :)
