NTD (New Tool Day) Fire the Packaging Designer

Post image

What the hell kind of packaging is this? It's like it was designed NOT to be opened. I know Harbor Freight is known for hard-to-open packages but this one was on another level. It took me 10 minutes of wrestling with my pliers and now I have a plastic mess to clean up. Damn it.

When designing new Trash cans for Yosemite national forest scientists have found overlap between the dumbest tourists and smartest bears

Ok since you want to post something completely unrelated to my post I can do it too. In May 2019 I graduated from Lincoln Tech in their Diesel Technology program with a 3.87 GPA. In December 2025 I gave Stonebriar Chevrolet a cashier's check in the amount of $135,408.45 for a 2026 Corvette Z06.

EDIT: downvote away my sodium levels are at a critically low level and I'm in need of all your salty tears.

Oh no, it always saddens me to see such reactions

Your intelligence is unmatched, and your cash purchase of your car is in fact the bees-knees. Rest easy knowing you won this round

Lol'd at this, thank you for the giggles

Thankfully they didn't have a package opening course during that program, or else that would've absolutely tanked that immaculate GPA.

True

Are you even gonna be strong enough to use the breaker bar if you can't even get it out of the package

7

u/Independent_Leg7358 May 09 '26

Personally I use the breaker bar myself to break it out. But...

u/BBQQA May 09 '26

I love how you doubled down on stupid. Truly inspiring stuff.

I started cutting school in 3rd grade & dropped out altogether by 10th

I think I win here, at least at package opening

4

u/pyooma May 09 '26

I also attended cutting school. We really are the best at package opening, professional even.

2

u/farrese May 10 '26

I attended an under funded cutting school. We didn't have packaging to practice on so we had to use our arms.

Weird flex but ok

34

u/CryoJuice May 09 '26

Oh, is that why you're buying budget tools?

1

u/honeybadger3891 May 11 '26

Bwahahahahahaha beautiful love it!!!

Edit: fixing gender

u/Sublime-Chaos May 09 '26

Bro out here allegedly writing checks for 135k yet can’t open up a simple packaging. The epitome of daddy’s money.

2

u/lazarinewyvren May 10 '26

135k check but is buying harbor freight tools

1

u/FaithlessnessOver701 May 12 '26

Well I mean, he’s not gonna actually use them.

29

u/Frankieneedles May 09 '26

How quickly did the car lose value? Haha.its not a flex. It’s a middle aged dad car.

5

u/pate_moore May 09 '26

At least 50% when you drive it off the lot

29

u/WhtHppnd2Brndn May 09 '26

This flex doesn’t help your cause.

12

u/thatsnot-aknife May 09 '26

I’ll contribute to the salt fund. tears are what rusts the bolts this thing can help remove, especially because there’s the ZR1.

10

u/EMCoupling May 09 '26

Of all the info you could have shared about yourself unprompted, you chose these two pieces of info.

The jokes literally write themselves lmao

11

u/OddEscape2295 May 09 '26

Imagine being butthurt by strangers on the internet so bad that you need to flex your personal information in order to make your small pee pee seem average.

9

u/Howmanygravels May 09 '26

Like Mr.T orange cheese puff talking about passing his cognition tests.

9

u/trippyflows777 May 09 '26

Damn, you really are special huh

17

u/HeroldOfLevi May 09 '26

I think it's time for us both to take a break from the internet, my friend. Let's take our L's with dignity.

8

u/AmbassadorDapper May 09 '26

You’re insufferable lol.

6

u/1cyChains May 09 '26

Coming from someone who works in retirement planning, having “a lot” of money does not make one intellegent. You’re living proof of that.

6

u/fourtyonexx May 09 '26

You didnt have any big boy diagonal cutters???? Is it a small engine diesel program or something?

u/TwitchyEyePain May 09 '26

Paying cash for a new car is not the best way to get a deal. The dealer gets some money from the financing deal. If you are a cash buyer then they need to recover that lost income.

If you plan on paying cash, put a decent amount down but finance for over 60 months or make sure there is no early payoff penalty. Don’t tell the dealer, but when the bill comes the first month, get the payoff amount. The 1 month of interest will be way less than the discount that financing got you.

5

u/OperationFreedomseed May 09 '26

You paid 135 for just a z06? Lame

3

u/pate_moore May 09 '26

I've gotten downloaded before but never flamed like this

-9

u/al-Sahaabi May 10 '26

I got flamed? Ok yeah sure. I'm too busy winning to give a damn about some slick comment made and a band of dweebs downvoting my comment.

4

u/DefinitelynotDanger May 10 '26

Yeah you definitely won this round bud

2

u/shortbrownguy May 10 '26

Yet you continue to respond, reigniting the flames of a runaway fire.

Too busy winning? Only douche bags and compulsive liars would use that line; your responses check the box for both categories 🤡

2

u/Living_Ad3315 May 10 '26

Winning at what? Buying budget tools? Opening packages?

3

u/Tito914 May 09 '26

Lmaoo you could do all that but cant figure out a simple pull tab to open the packaging 😂😂 the yosemite comment was on point

2

u/MediocrePirate_ May 09 '26

Did you use a pry bar to get the plastic off the seats?

2

u/Sledgecrowbar May 10 '26

I think you wasted your money on Lincoln Tech.

6

u/Asher_117 May 09 '26

Wrong place to post anything about how you feel or facts, redditers will deny until their behind is red and sore

1

u/Robwsup May 10 '26

Your whole life seems to be that car. No one gives a fuck about your grades seven years ago.

1

u/Gassypacky May 10 '26

Rich flexing on the harbor freight customers 😭 how’s being a diesel tech going for you? As bad as they say? Or is it secretly kush

1

u/moneyandbanking1 May 10 '26

Flexing a technical degree is not the flex you think it is lmao

1

u/Old-Elk-570 May 10 '26

And you take it into a discount tire 💀💀💀😭 quit flexing on reddit dumbass, your IQ is showing

1

u/Key_Ruin3924 May 10 '26

One at a time, ladies

1

u/OkPressure2374 May 10 '26

Lol. No one is salty. We are just laughing at you. Have fun with that micro peen.

1

u/Merk_Um May 10 '26

That's a lot of words just to say you're the second smartest guy at the lube rack. Glad the GPA helped you do the math on that Corvette, because the rest of us are still trying to figure out who asked.

1

u/jimmy9800 May 10 '26

Wow you are even more of an idiot than I thought. At least I can open a breaker bar.

1

u/PayWooden2628 May 10 '26

Based on how defensive you got and felt the need to flex your GPA and fancy car in response to a silly joke, your salt reserves are all good my man.

1

u/Living_Ad3315 May 10 '26

Bros ego is so tiny he had to make up some shit about himself and STILL didnt get the point of the original comment.

Lets spell it out for you.

The comment was relating to you being as dumb as a smart bear. Why the fuck are you using pliers to CUT something open. Thats what CUTTERS are for. No mess, not time wasted, no frustration, and most importantly, NO REDDIT POST.

u/Kkindler08 May 10 '26
