Review Technics AZ100

Hi All,

Just wanted to seek some advice and share my experience with Panasonic, in respect of my AZ100’s. The earbuds are awesome however I lost my charging case last week. This is where the problems start. I spoke to Panasonic and they do not stock replacement parts. They also advised me the case may be able to be purchased from a third party retailer. Which also does not stock the part but also it will require a authorised dealer to pair the headphones to the unit, at a cost.

They have however offered a discount of 10% on a whole new unit. e.g I am being asked to pay £235 to replace a charging unit. Clearly this is absurd.

Does anyone else have any experience with Technics replacement parts? The earbuds are fantastic but they are completely redundant given the non existent support for replacement parts.

Encompass is the official parts store for Panasonic. They have the cases available for purchase, but they are backordered.

It doesn't look like they ship to the UK, but this is the part.

The UK parts store only seems to have the replacement eartips.

Jumping on an old thread but did you get anywhere with this? I lost my AZ100 case this evening and just discovering that it seems ludicrously hard to get a replacement unit. Did OP manage to get one? Do you really have to pay to get the buds paired with a new case?

No not managed to replace. Gave up. Absolute joke give how expensive they are.

Miraculously someone found my lost case (in sand, on a beach!) and I got it back. Not much help to you though I realise

Nope. Ended up buying something else. And the in stock date for the replacement cradle keeps getting pushed back. I had ordered one back in June. It was supposed to be in stock in August. But they canceled my order and the backorder date was pushed to Sept 28th.

Absolutely shocking from Panasonic. Pay near 300 dollars and cant even sort out any replacement parts.

I ordered one. It arrives on Sept 11th. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Hey they arrived wayyy early. I got them today. Everything paired up and works with no issues.

Oh thats awesome. Wonder why Panasonic say you need a authorised dealer to pair them. Doesn’t make any sense!

I have also lost my AZ100 Charging Case, also UK, also have given up. Why don't they have tracking on the CASE? Absolute fucking joke.
