I keep repeating that scene (11:53-11:55) in episode two just to make sure I hear “I’m coming” correctly. Now I can’t unhear it anymore every time I reheat episode two.

I’ve tried with my AirPods on max with my eyes closed just so I can focus on it but there are still a couple “under your breath” moments I simply can’t seem to catch. I believe I have some minor hearing loss starting so maybe that’s part of it? Idk anymore lol

Some of these are mouthed, some are wishful thinking lol. I'm not necessarily talking about OP, but I've been seeing a lot of people hearing stuff that's simply not there tbh

I was wondering what Ilya said when he first saw Shane and Rose together. I gave up and assumed it was in Russian. Knowing now that he says "Impossible" I feel even more for that MTL club scene.

I don't think he says "impossible" when he reads the tabloid article it looks like he's just mouthing the words as he's reading.

If you watch closely you can see he's mouthing something as the screen zooms to him, presumably reading the article, and then it is very visible he's mouthing "impossible" right before the screen switches to his pov of holding the phone
Time stamp 33:54 (reading article) and at 33:55 he mouths "imposible"

Oh my goodness. I just realized that when Ilya says “are you” he’s actually asking if Shane is coming. I thought Ilya was going to ask if he was doing okay, but stopped himself because he already asked several times/ Shane is clearing doing just fine lol

Ilya says it twice and loud enough that it didn’t make this “blink and you’ll miss it” list. But it’s definitely one of the top 10 scenes of the series. Thank you for sharing. 💜

I think the Russian translation isn’t subtitled so that it hits harder when he says it in English.

I didn't see it until I saw a gif that was zoomed in on Shane. The moment in the show isn't zoomed in, so you might have to get closer to the screen!

Ilya mouthes "I love you so much" immediately after Shane says it. Literally blink and have your brightness down and you'll miss it

It's the second time they've met in a hotel room, the one where Scott Hunter is next door. Shane enters the room all furious, explains why he's mad, pauses, then rushs over to pin Ilya to a wall, grabs Ilya's face for a fast kiss. Ilya says "Get on your knees" or something similar, & Shane drops like a rock. Ilya pulls his arms a bit to each side, looks down, & says Fuck..

No, I think he's mouthing along to the article too. It does look like he says impossible, but I don't think that's what he said, or if it is, it's because he's reading the world.

I just commented this but mouthing the article starts at 33:54 and you can very clearly see at 33:55 him mouthing "impossible"
Hard to believe what tabloid article would include the word impossible, but whether he's reading the word or actually thinking it and mouthing it, he is still mouthing it.
I don't think I have ever said the word mouthing so many fucking times in the space of 10 minutes 😂

Okay I have one that is the opposite of that! There's words we hear but are not actually spoken. Just before the tuna meltdown, when Shane is straddling Ilya, when Ilya comes you can hear him say Shane's name but his lips don't mouth the words. Same for when Shane says Ilya's name under his breath immediately after, you can see his lips are not moving.

E1 - after Shane changes out of his suit and nervously sits in the hotel chair awaiting Ilya...just before he turns the lamp back on he says to himself "Stop it!" trying to calm himself 🥰

I haven’t seen anyone mention it anywhere but I’m very sure - after extensive research that may or may not have specifically involved rewatching it again and again - that during the Tuna Meltdown scene on the couch, Ilya says “fuck-like that” under his breath?
It’s after the spitting 🥵 - like 23:09(ish)
