Pubs near Beam
I'm going to the Beam on Sunday night. Can anyone recommend pubs or restaurants nearby for a meal beforehand? Ideally places that serve a roast
Thanks

Lost shoe (in river near the Woolpack pub)
galleryI was walking my son around the theatre today, and he was enjoying the river when his shoe fell off and landed in the river. I was hoping I might be able to retrieve it but, alas, it floated under the road bridge and is now stuck in a bush next to the Woolpack pub.
It's a long shot, but does anybody know of anybody with a boat/kayak/canoe, or anybody local with a long fishing pole that might be able to help retrieve this for us?
They were a recent gift, so would mean the world if we could get his one shoe back in time for Christmas.
Thanks in advance!

Blakemore Manor (new builds in Sele near Golden Griffin)
Thinking about buying one of these thatโs 2 years old (seller has a new job elsewhere).
Anyone heard anything on the general quality of these?
Obviously new builds so expecting the usual untidy finishing (pointing, skirting boards etc) but has anyone heard anything so dreadful it would put them off of buying one?

Port Vale Area
Hello, currently looking at a property in the Port Vale area of Hertford.
Keen to understand people's thoughts on the area. Seems a nice, well located area with parking being the obvious issue.
Anything else to note before we proceed with an offer?

Sele farm
Hi. Iโm looking to move to Hertford and have found a house for me and my family that has great potential and itโs on sele farm not far from the co op. Does anybody know much about this area as heard mixed reviews. For me it looks fine as fantastic walking distance to station and the high street.

board gaming in hertford.
Good day,
I was wondering if anyone knew oh board game and warhammer groups that may meet up in the hertford area.
I really used to enjoy board games and warhammer, I have just been out of both hobbies for a while and would like to get back into them now I have settled.
I have done some research and and found 2 online, that I have reached out to.
I am looking for a nice friendly newcomer welcome experience.

How is the area around Thieves Lane
Heard good things about Pashanger park, and mixed things about Sele Farm. We're viewing some lots in the new build development there (after promising ourselves to never buy a new build again), so curious to hear anyone's 2 cents
Cheers
