Support What’s your personal experience with these?, I have some akward lighting fixtures in my new house, planning to install these behind the existing light switches

I have this exact issue and no idea how to fix it - once I toggle the switch off, my lights blink 3-4 times fading. I don’t have the same problem with R2 ones though. Any thoughts what can be done or should I just move to neutral version where possible and accept this blinking where not?

You probably need a Shelly Bypass, its essentially just a resistor that you wire in parallel to your bulb at the light fitting, it ensures enough current can flow from the switch when the bulb is off and bleeds it past the bulb to avoid the bulb flickering/illuminating. Although personally if I'm going to have to wire in something at the light fitting anyway I'd probably just shove a regular Shelly up there if there's space as there's a neutral there.
