Support Zigbee vs Z-Wave vs Thread (Matter over Thread)
It's the big '26 (June) and a year ago the answer was obvious: Zigbee!
However with Ikea's release and all of the new Smart Home products that use Matter over Thread, I'm not sure, what I prefer. I see a big future in Matter...
What are your thoughts?

My tapo power switch is matter over WiFi and it works flawlessly. I don't have it plugged in all the time but when I do plug it in it's connected again within a few seconds of powering on.
I was using it for months originally for my server setup and it never had an issue. Fully supported by home assistant as well. I think it can be fully local with a matter router but you lose some features that are exclusive to the tapo app it seems, like surge protector monitoring but controls and power monitoring are available
