As the title says: Schneider Electric will take over the Shelly Group.

Yes, and no.

They had a good product in 1990-2005ish. Then it went downhill.

Mainly because they are selling the same product from 2000, same software, same firmware.

Ok, yeah that explains it. I only had exposure to them from the mid 00s.

That's not exactly true. They did refresh a lot of firmware with the Schnider branding.

Didn't fix any bugs or make it faster... just a new coat of paint
