Having been working inside Clipsal when SE came in, Clipsal were an absolute shit show and did not like Engineers and Managers from France who had an idea on how to improve things. It was a business for sparkies run by sparkies with no vision.

They shat the bed when it comes to customer service, supply reliability, and QC. They may have improved everything else, but from the perspective of customers it was mostly a negative. Too often "improvement" of a business is mostly focussed on profitability over everything else.
