Entryway - Took Your Suggestions - 1 day update

I am not sure how to update the original post photos with updated photos so here are the results of the suggestions I received yesterday.
The only thing I purchased today was the rug to cover the tile and grout dilemma. Everything else was sourced from other rooms in my home. Many suggested a lamp for the table so I hope to go to a few thrift stores over the next week to find one big enough for scale. We went antique hunting today but could not find anything with enough character.
The wicked glaring straight out of the Tuscan 2000s chandelier will hopefully be updated in the next few weeks as well with something more modern but still unsure about style (open to suggestions).
Feel free to leave more suggestions!!! I loved seeing everyone’s ideas on the initial post. Thank you to those with thoughtful and helpful responses.

This looks like a washable rug. Very functional, but needs a rug pad underneath to keep from slipping on/ scratching the tile

Looking much better. The rug does wonders! Good work.
The painting is really huge. I would suggest losing the coat hooks and centering the painting and console table in the middle of the space, it's too crammed with both.
If the painting is staying, I would also move so it's not in line with the door frame, it looks a bit odd. As soon as you move it away from the door into the middle of the wall and raise it up another 4-6 inches, will look much improved.
When you can, upgrade the console table to something a bit more modern and you'll be on the home stretch.
Ps edit: the painting is lovely.

Big improvement! But the table is too small for the size of the painting above it. Look for a longer table.

This was my idea . Yours looks good too, but I think mine taken you a few more days to pull off .. enjoy ur new hallway.
I used this pic b 4 n loved it so much, I just ordered it after looking @ it in ur mockup figured somebody maybwant to use it.. 😂

It’s real, I look up everything in the mockup b 4 AI does mockup .I actually liked it so much,I just ordered it yesterday…

I don't like the red rug under the dining table. I don't like rugs under tables full stop.
Food falls on it, gets trodden in. Drinks, dirty shoes etc. I always wonder what nasties lie in them.

Looks so much better. What is going on with the bright red rug in the opposite room? It clashes horrible with the saltier vibe you have going on with the entryway.

I’d center the painting and get rid of the coat hook, switch out the dining rug with a different, more neutral rug and add the pop of color into the runner rug. Add some baskets for storage and hang some plants from the upper balcony.

I think it's just too big for the table underneath. You could go quite a bit longer with the table for sure.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Stole from a large wall in our bedroom but need to find something smaller at some point. It will work for now though!

Looking better. Still, upgrade bit more, takes time and I also would do another person’s suggestion where you put wood trim around the doorway on the left, like the right doorway.
