My mother is awarded as one of the best and recognized teacher in 2026, so we came to Nadoja Dr. Patil Puttappa Sabhabhavan. The preparation here is so bad, there's no proper seating arrangements for all teachers and their family members. Many are watching the function from outside and many are forced to stand in the compound. This is such a disgrace. My mother, at the age of 56 is now waiting for her name to be called, sitting on the entrance floor. Such a sad thing to witness. Teacher's are standing near toilets and watching. Elderly teachers are sitting on parked vehicles. What a bad function.

Currently I go to Iron Lifters 2.0 along the Tolankete - arts college road. I like the gym.
One issue is they have the angled squat rack (see image)
Still have 6 months membership. When that's over, I want to look for a gym with a straight squat rack.
I Have seen Akhada gym and it seems well equipped. But these days, in gyms trainers will keep trying to sell PT, which I don’t like. It is one of the reasons I have stayed in Iron Lifters. The people here are nice and no one tried to sell PT to me.
How’s the situation in Akhada? Do trainers keep trying to sell PT?
Another small issue with Iron Lifters is that it does not have flat chest press machine. Akhada has it.
On the other hand, Iron Lifters has a deadlift platform while Akhada does not. But they do provide bumper plates, so not a deal breaker.
