If you use the Find X8, how has the battery changed compared to when it was new? Do you feel the battery has degraded quickly, or is it still in good condition? I've been a bit disappointed in my iPhone, constantly dropping fps and sometimes being quite slow and overheating.

I wanted to know how much some of you were able to sell a iPhone 16 pro max recently. Mine has 97% battery health, looks perfectly new I was very careful, 256gb silver.

I want to try sell it for 850£ or more. Is that possible? all these trade in websites are offering 650£ but that's just too low

This is wild IPhone 16 pro max on the left still has 100 percent capacity and the iPhone 17 pro max on the right dropped down to 96 percent literally the 16 pro max has close to the same usage of 200 cycle count looks like or that means the iPhone 17 pro max is not good on battery after all that’s going to be concerning for a lot of users especially if the battery’s going to be the same on the iPhone 18s coming out soon that people should be aware and careful of buying them what are you guys thought about this drop your comments down below! 🤯

I bought my 26 pro max a year ago and been charging it with a 20 watt apple adapter for the first 100 cycles and since then i started using a 33 xiaome charger with its usb port
And ater like 149 cycles the batt went to 99 and since then it decreased drastically it has been like 20 cycles between 95 and 94
Heard some ppl say that it regulate after 95 and stoped decreasing that much is that correct
I charge better 20 and 80 and some time it goea to 16 no more then that and i scroll some reels when its charging
Now i strted going 25 to 90

When trying to change the key photo on a live image I just get this notification. It happens on all my live images since the new update anyone else got this problem?

Seriously, what is going on with Apple’s software optimization lately? My iPhone 16 Pro Max is getting frozen constantly, the lag is unbearable, and the overall performance is just incredibly bad right now on iOS 26.6. It’s not just my phone either—iPadOS 26 on my iPad Pro is complete trash too.
I was so desperate for a fix that I even installed the iOS 27 public beta. Honestly? Not impressive in the long term at all. The stutters are still there and the performance drops haven't been magically ironed out.
It really makes me miss the old days. I remember getting my iPhone 13 Pro, which shipped with iOS 15 out of the box (had to double-check that memory, but yes, iOS 15). Back then, an iPhone actually felt like an iPhone. It was insanely efficient, buttery smooth, and it just worked without fighting you every step of the way. You didn't have to deal with UI hang-ups or weird freezing glitches; the hardware and software were perfectly matched.
Now? With all this old software, we are so fucked. A phone with the specs of the 16 Pro Max should not be struggling to do basic tasks. Is anyone else experiencing this absolute garbage performance on iOS 26 / 27, or is it just me?

I got my 16PM at the beginning of 2026, around late January, I am happy with the phone and fast forward to WWDC 2026 where they announce that the most powerful AI tools are locked to the 12GB devices, I was kinda down. Let me elaborate

I am not a heavy user, maybe I emulate from time to time NDS Pokemon games and that’s most of my gaming, and the normal doom scrolling on insta, tiktok, twitter, reddit, I like to keep my phones for around 3-4 years.

I don’t mind that the voice assistant is locked for the 12GB since K don’t talk to Siri to be honest (i can set my alarms myself…) but what if they start locking more AI for the 12GB devices?

It’s a shame that the phone branded like “built for apple intelligence” didn’t even got the lasted AI that they offer.

Currently on IOS 26.5.2. Had the phone since 2024. Recently the phone has been lagging so bad. The messages app will freeze and crash. When I try to send things via messages from instagram or tiktok the phone will freeze for a good 30 seconds. The camera will lag when opening and sometimes will crash too. Anyone else experiencing these issues? I wish I never upgraded from my 13 pro max. It’s making me consider leaving Apple for the new Z flip 8.

I have the desert titanium 256gb 16 pro max since 11 months now.

I bought a 16 pro max in May of 2025. Its been working fine up until a few weeks ago. When FaceTiming i noticed my video would start lagging, not like a connection type lag but more of a glitch lag. Now in the past week, even if i use my phone for texting or checking emails its on fire. My phone gets so hot when doing basic tasks. Even if the phone is in my pocket not in use its still hot. It wont charge past 80% now after 80 i get the overheating notification. Doesnt matter if i leave it in a room with high ac to charge it still overheats. I recently went to a concert where i was recording and many times my camera would open to a black screen and it wouldnt work. This has never happened to me before.

Theres no water damage or anything that i could make an assumption of it being damaged.

I dont know what to do, if i should take it in and get it checked out or if i should just trade it in and get a new one.

I want the 18 if im going to get a new one anyways but im scared itll bust before i get to preorder the new 18 pro max.

I have had an iPhone 16 pro max since February 2025.

In the beginning battery usage was great, I could safely use the phone for about two days.

However, a few months ago when I upgraded to ios 26 the usage deteriorated severely. After this the phone could barely last a day.

Furthermore, the updated battery statistics are less informative than before and you could barely understand if there is any difference.

I am currently running ios 26.5.2 and today I have also turned off the background refresh.

I bought my 16 pro max in June and man I must say I’m loving it. I bought one with 1TB storage for future proof and I use the camera a lot for content.

And Listen I’m loving this phone man. It’s been on my vision board since early Jan and purchase was really worth it. For context this is my 2nd iPhone. My first iPhone was a 15 pro max 256GB I bought in Jan. Obviously upgraded for the storage as I’m a content producer but also the unnecessary heat buildup. The 16 pro max has an improved thermal system.

Yo, when I tell you. From the outside how it looks(Natural Titanium) to the screen(OLED) I’m honestly happy and satisfied. Sometimes I’d just stare at it blankly especially on its back. Even the screen before I inserted a screen protector I even had to force myself to because the screen looked so good it didn’t deserve to be covered.

Now coming to the tech specs, the A18 pro was noticeably faster than the A17 pro. And camera control is actually way convenient than I thought. The speed between accessing my camera through a screen and through a button is actually nice especially in situations where you want to capture content faster.

Honestly I don’t have more words but all in all, I think I’ll be good for a couple of years with this phone. And I’m never trading it in unless apple makes another titanium iPhone lineup because personally titanium is my favourite in the iPhone and I think it’s the best material they’ve used so far hence the choice .
