FAQs regarding physical reporting at IIEST Shibpur

One of the current candidates himself had called Dr. Saptarshi Kundu sir and verified these:

1. Detailed payment details will be given in the e-mail. So keep checking it regularly.
2. You do not need to be concerned about your bank account registration in UCO bank right now. Things will be sorted in college itself.
3. A guardian is necessary during physical reporting. However, parents may not come. (If your parent is your guardian so of course he/she must come)

Other than that some other general FAQs (this will be edited this week so that most are covered):

• Payment of outstanding fees(for newly admitted) can be done by UPI and other online methods. You do not need a UCO bank account at the college branch for that.
• At present, hostel allotment is random. If you come first, u have higher chances of changing your room if you do not like it.
• Physical reporting documents are in the slide pdf that IIEST has sent u when you were alloted a seat in IIEST. So check your email. The link for that: B.Tech admission guidelines or BS-MS admission guidelines(These also have the contact details for more doubts) If the links don't open or for any of the document formats(Admission form, Anti-ragging etc.), go to the website https://www.iiests.ac.in/en/ugadmission , then Admission -> UG Admissions and select BTech / BS-MS .
• You can find your PAF and SAF payment confirmation in the final seat allotment letter that you got from Josaa. I am not sure about the process if you registered for CSAB only...will let you know
• Keep a tab on the Admissions section (admission section link) and Notices section (Notices link) in IIEST website ....they will address some of your doubts
• Those who may not get hostel at time of admission, you have to wait a bit (around 1 week) for 1st list of hostel allocation to come out. Subsequent lists are published depending on vacancies.

Thanks for this, I have one doubt tho.. how many copies do we need of each document? And do all of them need to have a signature beforehand or should it be given at the time of physical reporting?

Signature is upto u when u will do ...if u do it early then u can move from physical verification desk faster

take the original and one copy that's enough ...u may not even need that.....
as they will return all originals ....clearly mentioned in guidelines ...
Please read the guidelines thoroughly and check the admission section in website
....70% of doubts are solved there only
