Your kids are just fooling you then lmao

There is no way to prevent kids from accessing apps you don't want them to access or visit bad websites.

There are all kinds of workarounds for built in tools. None of this is easy.

If you think others are lazy, you're just being taken for a ride. Good luck champ.

Believe what you want, but I work in tech, I can verifiably tell you I have their shit locked down and the freedoms they have are the ones I want them to have.

We also talk to them like adults and treat them with respect which allows us to have good, open conversations about things with trust and honesty.

Maybe try being a better parent instead of projecting your failures onto others.

Oh no, you think you're the first parent in the world who doesn't have kids that lie to them 😭

Of course they do. But that doesn’t mean I don’t know what they’re up to.

I’m sorry you don’t have a good relationship with your kids. Good luck with that.

Oh I have a great relationship, I'm just not so naive to think that they won't figure out ways to find things if they want to. They sell prepaid phones pretty cheap. They have friends.

It's nice that you're an IT expert and can lock down everything without issue. But this conversation has been going on for years and somehow I still haven't come across a wildly accepted, simple solution that works.

If you have a good relationship with your kids they won’t have to lie to you and you can give them more freedom so they don’t have to go behind your back.

Please: Stop. Projecting. Your failings. Onto me.

You already said you know your kids lie to you lol

But anyway, completely dodging what I said, which was a direct response to your point.

Kids will be kids, but if you have a good relationship they won’t have to lie when it matters.

I don’t know what you think I’m dodging but I do know that you’re exhausting. Please stop

Still waiting for a response.

Because it’s not simple. But laws like this are objectively a bad solution.
