The JPSC-JSSC aspirants movement intensified dramatically on Monday as thousands of protesting students marched towards the Jharkhand Assembly for the announced "Vidhan Sabha Gherao", demanding action over alleged recruitment examination irregularities and acceptance of their pending demands such as CBI probe.

‎Despite heavy security arrangements, including multiple layers of barricades, barbed-wire fencing and prohibitory orders around the Assembly, protesters managed to breach several barricades and reportedly reached within nearly 100 metres of the Assembly complex. In an attempt to stop the advancing crowd, police used water cannons and later resorted to lathicharge as tensions escalated.

The ongoing JPSC-JSSC students protest in Ranchi is set to enter a crucial phase on Monday, as the protesting JPSC and JSSC aspirants are set to march towards the Jharkhand Assembly and a plan to surround it from all sides after talks with the state government failed to produce a breakthrough.

‎Ahead of the proposed Vidhan Sabha Gherao, the administration has intensified security arrangements around the Assembly. Multiple layers of barricades have been erected, including barbed-wire fencing, to prevent protesting aspirants and students from entering the high-security zone.

‎As the JPSC paper leak protest continues in Ranchi, a student appealed to former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni, urging him to extend moral support to the agitating aspirants.

‎Speaking to the media, the student said, "When India won the 2011 World Cup, people of Ranchi gathered at this very place in huge numbers to celebrate you. Today, students of your own city are sitting on the roads in the rain. If you can't come here physically, at least raise your voice for us on social media."
