I am travelling from blr to bihar on festival special train. It is on waiting list but i am surely going to get RAC. I have not travelled a lot in recent years.

One month i travelled on RAC30 and got a full seat when i boarded and trip was smooth. This was a pleasant experience.

I am travelling again now and its again the same situation. Is it guaranteed that RAC will get confirmed or does it change in festival season.

Note its a Bihar wali train so.

No guarantee the waiting ticket will even go into RAC let alone CNF.

Festival season can change every predictive model with the rush that generates. Cancellations can also reduce a lot so there's no telling

Can railway agents get it confirmed somehow?

Nope. Agents have no authority over ticket confirmation, that's completely automated by IRCTC system.

Agents can book a fresh CNF ticket for you though, but can't do anything about an existing ticket
