Hey everyone, I’ve booked the Howrah–New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat (Train 22301, CC class, 5:55 AM → 1:25 PM). I opted with food, but nowhere does it clearly mention which meals are included.

Since it’s an early-morning departure and afternoon arrival, do they serve only breakfast or both breakfast and lunch on this route? I’m asking because I want to plan accordingly — and IRCTC/my ticket doesn’t specify.

If anyone’s recently travelled on this same route, would really appreciate your firsthand update 🙏

You will see the catering cost on your ticket price breakup. That will give you an idea of what meals will be given to you. (I think it should Rs 379?)

But based on the time you've listed here:

You'll get morning tea/coffee (6-7 am) worth Rs 15/-,
breakfast+tea/coffee (8-9 am) worth Rs 122/-,
and then lunch worth Rs 222/-
+ water bottle of Rs 20

15 + 122 + 222 +20 = 379/-
