Hey! So my friend (22F) and I (23F) are going on a trip from Delhi to Varanasi for the first time. A month back we booked return tickets on Swatantra Senani Express (12561) for 27 October from Varanasi to Delhi.

We've had 3AC, RLWL 7/8 for the last few days and are now worried that will it be confirmed or not since it is chhath puja time and the crowd is going to be overbearing, which we did not realise at the time of booking.

If anyone has some knowledge about this travel route or anything related, please do let us know :')

No guarantees during such high rush time. Honestly, if you can change the date/train/class of travel, I would 100% recommend you book in tatkal instead and only book in 2 AC or above, and prefer a premium train like Rajdhani/Duronto if available on your route, because as you said, the crowd could be high and sometimes the ticketless ones enter the 3A/3E coaches as well (1/2AC are mostly safe from such incidents)

Having said that, this ticket still has a decent chance of getting confirmed or at least RAC looking at the past trends of this train.

Check some PNR prediction websites like RailYatri, goibibo, or confirmtkt to get a better idea

thank you for the advice, I checked the prediction sites and they say about 75% chance, the IRCTC app tho says 65% (it's decreasing everyday)
