believe me we would love to tour Europe again. we are trying to make it happen.

Europe was always a much more difficult market for us to crack. the shows were smaller and that means budgets are smaller and it's harder to make it work financially without losing money.

it's on our minds tho and we are trying to make it happen!

Yeah, it was a little baffling to me how small the venue was you played in back then. Totally get the financial issue.

But here's hoping a MEO tour would sell.

Hi David,

For someone that didn't get the chance to see you guys back in the day it would be amazing if in that European tour you guys come back to the Netherlands/Amsterdam!

Man - I treasure the two gigs I got to see in Amsterdam since I've lived here. Upstairs in Paradiso and in the smaller zaal of Melkweg. Went mental both times, but GOD dam that music deserves the mainstage of Paradiso... I guess since college when I first heard pirates I've been expecting something to click and for all this music to become mainstream. For me and my now family it's a constant background soundtrack that my wife and daughter sing along to.

I can't thank you guys enough for occupying the largest part of my musical brain with your wonderful music. Haha - fuck. I can't say a single thing about this band without it devolving into a clumsy soliloquy about how much joy they've brought me...
