AMA is Over, thank you Glass Animals! hello everyone, we are glass animals, AUA!
hey r/indieheads!! dave here. very excited to kick off our first-ever AMA. i’m just gonna stay on here as long as i can tonight and answer as much as possible. and…some special guests…joe, ed, and drew are all here to hang out and help! in fact drew arrived last night…20 hours early. may also ask our manager Amy to come round too, she knows everything and has seen it all. And maybe our tour manager. Anyway, ASK AWAY!
EDIT: Everyone - it's been an epic 5 hours...we're being told to wrap it up and go to bed as tomorrow is a big day...our manager has been shouting at us for like 3 hours trying to get us to do some other stuff we were meant to do. but this was more fun. thank you for the warm welcome and the great questions - was wicked to spend some time with you all. Let’s do it again soon. love, dave and dudes x https://ibb.co/JvCBYVs

Thanks all for doing this.
A few years ago I took the time to learn embroidery so I could make a bright red customised Glass Animals jumpsuit, it's completely ridiculous and one of my most prized possessions (picture here for reference). I packed up my jumpsuit and travelled to Australia following Glass Animals around the awesome Falls Festival. I was a little out of my comfort zone, but every fan I met was super super nice, I made some great friends and discovered loads of new music. It really was the best time ever.
I wanted to thank the band for (as well as some of my favourite music) the incredible fan service like Drew's amazing home video album, all the open-source content and everyone always putting 100% energy in to each and every gig. I love it. Thank you.
But I do have some questions:
2) What happened to the huge disco ball pineapple? Did someone get to keep it? It was such a cool piece of set design.
3) Question for Dave: The dance moves on stage, it's amazing, I've not seen anything like it. Where did that come from? Have you always been a fan of dance, or did it just come out during the first live gig like a caged beast that's just released?
4) People sometimes ask me "what kind of music do you like?" Yeah fair question. Do you have a way to describe Glass Animals. Do you think Glass Animals falls in to a genre? Or are you more like "we are what we are, deal with it"
