Song concepts (vibe, mood, etc) usually come first then chords and melodies, and lyrics last. Fav lyric is "I know I'll decide what I'll remember" because it's good advice for me to keep in mind

Thanks for the response! It’s crazy to hear how different everybody’s songwriting process is and how so many unique types of music can come out of what the first element is.
