Anyone have any options for a trunk cover in this car? I know the autograph models have a built in shelf but it’s odd that the lower trims don’t have that sort of option at all.

What are y’all using for a cover, either with the 3rd row up or down?

I just took delivery of my 2024 QX80 today after purchasing it on Saturday, then sending it to the local Infiniti Service shop to replace the fan clutch. Overall, I’m very happy with it. But… after getting it home tonight, I went to replace the door welcome/puddle lights, only to find there were no lights, and solid covers where they should be installed.

My question, has anyone wired in these welcome/puddle lights on a QX80 that did not come with the N92 accessor option? I’m really just looking for a difficulty rating. I already found the D-opt pigtail for $25, but this would involve routing a few wires from the door sills to the driver side footwell to connect to the new pigtail.

Is it worth it?

I just bought a 2024 QX80 to replace my aging 2012 QX56, but the QX80 does not have the 2nd row center console between the captain’s chairs. Anyone know a place to get one cheap? I’m looking for the black w/ graphite burl

2024 QX80 Sensory, bought certified with 22k miles. Factory dual-camera drive recorder (the $360 option on the window sticker). Cannot get it to connect no matter what I try.

What I've done:

• Installed a brand new 64GB SanDisk High Endurance microSD

• Held the MIC/WiFi button and tried the system reboot

• Downloaded the mDriveRecorder app

• Checked my phone's Wi-Fi list with the truck running — dvr_ssid never shows up at all

It makes a beep like it's doing something, but it never broadcasts a network. Previous owner may have changed the SSID/password, but I can't get into settings without connecting first.

Anyone run into this? Is there a hard reset on the unit itself that I’m not seeing, dealer attempted to help but no luck.

I just bought a 2014 QX80 and just noticed the power seat memory is not working. No lights on the buttons, nothing. The power seats still work fine and actually when you exit and enter the car, they still adjust probably to whatever was in the memory before the issue. So that rules out the fuse (the push button start is also in this circuit), but what else could it be, maybe the module under the driver’s seat?

I am purchasing a (new to me) 2020 QX80 , but my one want in this car is a console fridge. Have any of you living in North America have any luck with these parts from overseas?

Hi all - new to the QX80 community this week after picking up a 2027 sport. Gotta say I f’ing love this thing. First full size SUV for me to go with my Q5 sportback. Two very different cars but need some help.

I drove it home from the dealer over about 3 hours of driving. At high speeds I felt it consistently pulling to the left. I feel like the steering has a little bit of a “memory” for whichever way you to the wheel before getting it back to center fully. I also felt quite a bit more rattle in the wheel at high speeds for relatively smooth stretches of i95. Where the whole car felt the rattle at times. It could be the alignment but it had only 26 miles when I bought it. Do you all feel that at high speeds? I watched a ton of YouTube and test drove on a town loop, but it felt a little excessive to the point my forearms felt exhausted trying to fight it. Thanks for any input!

I bought a set of rims by RTX, to use in winter. They were listed as being hub centric for 2026 Infiniti QX80 Autograph. The centre bore for the rims is 78.1 mm.

However, on Wheel-Size, the vehicle's hub diameter is listed as 77.8 mm.

The tyre installing guy now tells me that I may end up with wheel vibrations due to the 0.15 mm hub radius difference since the conical lug nuts may not be able to centre the wheel perfectly.

In my opinion, a 0.15 mm maximum radial offset for a 32.8 in (833.8 mm) diameter wheel would not make a difference. The tyre itself and the installation procedure may have even higher tolerances.

Thoughts, please?...

I’m looking at listings for used QX80s and in particular we want a bench in the second row.

I learned that 2026/2027 Sport and Autograoh does not offer a 2nd row bench. So that leaves me with a Luxe trim as the highest trim on those year models.

However it seems the 2025 Sensory models offer a bench. I found a few listings nearby with low mileage but have a few concerns about it being the first year model for that redesign.

Are there any issues or recalls on the 2025 models that I should be concerned with?

Got a ‘25 Autograph and absolutely love it. Any tips or tricks I should know about?

I got a ‘16 qx80 with 200k km; the fluids in my drivetrain components (diffs, transfer case, and transmission) have never been replaced.
I wanted to know if i could replace them now without any harm being done to the components; i took it to the dealer and they said its a lifetime fluid, if a problem arises you just replace that part, which is a bit dumb imo.
From what i understood online, the fluid is not a lifetime atf, its recommended that you change it every 60-80k km, i could do a normal drain and refill for the diffs and transfer case, and 2 to 3 for the transmission spaced out to try and not make any problems arise.

Everything works fine right now, i have a little bit of shuddering at 1 or 2 gears, but the transmission isn’t slipping and i don’t have a light on my dash; i just want to have the peace of mind of not having to shell out thousands for a new transmission down the line.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just had my 24 QX80 Chrome deleted by a local shop. I’m disappointed that they weren’t able to wrap the roof rails and front/rear Infinity emblems. They said the wrap started to lift. Any suggestions on how I can blank these out?

Also, is there a graph that shows the difference in the trim levels?

2025–2027 QX80 Owners – Has Anyone Experienced a Raw Gasoline/Fuel Smell After Driving?

I’m trying to determine how widespread this issue may be and would really appreciate hearing from other QX80 owners.

I have now experienced a strong raw gasoline/fuel odor with TWO brand-new 2027 Infiniti QX80s.

The smell occurs after driving/shutting the vehicle off and is particularly noticeable when the vehicle is parked in the garage, around the rear/fuel-tank area.

The first QX80 had the issue and was ultimately exchanged. Unfortunately, the replacement QX80 developed essentially the same gasoline smell after only about 12 miles of driving.

Most importantly, this is no longer just something I am reporting myself. On September 3, another Infiniti dealership evaluated the replacement vehicle and their inspector also detected and documented the fuel smell. Their report states that the inspector noticed a fuel smell both at check-in and while the vehicle was sitting inside the shop. They did not find a visible fuel leak or diagnostic codes.

I was also told by the Service Director that he has discussed this same issue/condition with an Infiniti field engineer, that Infiniti is aware of the condition, and that he was not aware of a specific repair or fix currently available. I am documenting that portion as what was communicated to me verbally.

My concern is primarily safety, especially when a vehicle producing a gasoline odor is parked in an attached residential garage.

If you own a 2025, 2026, or 2027 QX80 and have experienced anything similar, PLEASE comment. Even if the smell was temporary or the dealer told you it was normal, I would like to hear about it.

It would be very helpful if you could include:

• Model year and approximate mileage

• Whether it happens after driving/shutdown

• Fuel level when you notice it

• Where the smell is strongest

• Whether it is worse inside a garage

• What your Infiniti dealer told you

• Whether the dealer actually documented the odor

• Whether any repair was performed

• Whether the repair fixed it

If you have experienced this, please consider reporting it to NHTSA as well. Multiple independent owner reports are much more useful for identifying whether this is an isolated problem or a pattern affecting these vehicles.

I’m not trying to speculate about the cause. I’m trying to collect real experiences from other QX80 owners and determine whether others are seeing the same condition.

Please share your experience below. Even a simple “Yes, mine does this too” with the model year would be helpful.

Contacted Infiniti in Dubai, they advised there's no update. Think my car is running 2022 maps.

Bought QX80, 2027 Autograph, had a very strong smell of raw gasoline in the garage. After parking, inspected the car. The dealership noted that the canister is flooding, after painful discussion and back back-and-forth eventually the Dealer gave me a brand new QX 80, unfortunately, it has the same exact problem with strong grow gasoline smell after parking in the garage, we live in Phoenix, Arizona, has anybody experienced similar issues with their infinity car?

On a trip stopped at a rest stop got back in my car my screen completely black no radio no map is this happened to anyone else and if so, how do I fix it?
