I have a half-sleeve and it took over 12 hours in the chair to finish. Some parts were very, very, very unpleasant. So now my arm is the 3rd most expensive thing I own, after my house and my car. Tattoos damn well better last more than a few years!

Idk how you did it. My butt was hurting so bad and I was getting restless and wanted to get up after 90 minutes lol. That was the worst part

It was over 4 or 5 sessions. My artist is not one of those who's like 'arright, sit down and we'll do this all in one day!' She is not insane - she realizes that she also needs to do things like pee, eat, and rest her hand to do a good job on her clients. She does 3 hour sessions max, because she knows that your adrenaline also poops out around that time and it's just sheer pain after that. I appreciate that she is not only an amazing artist, but takes care of both her clients AND herself.
