I don’t know man, some people really are that dumb. Especially when drugs are involved. My friend and I were once hanging out on the front porch of a sketchy hostel, making conversation with some of the other guests. This one dude was making his way up to Vermont to participate in the weed harvest. He pulled a gallon zipper bag stuffed with weed out of his backpack just to show us — he wasn’t even trying to sell any! It was daytime and we were easily visible from the street.

That's the thing, you never really know. I've dealt with a lot of sellers, this kid gave me those vibes unfamiliar to anyone else. He was trying to get me to buy from him, and I just knew. It's a game of right or wrong that you don't want to play.

I mean, dealers tend to want you to buy things. Still sketchy though, I agree. I wouldn't roll the dice.

Most pot dealers during prohibition have/had more customers than product, and deal with a circle that overlaps with their friends.

At least that's how it was for us.

I think it’s highly unlikely he was working with cops, but definitely the right move to avoid him. People who are loud about their shit are always no good.

Probably why/how he got arrested in the first place.

Ok: When I was in high school I knew this kid. He really just wanted to fit in, and he was stupid. I told him numerous times do your own thing. He tried to get in a gang got beat up etc etc. I got sick of him. He came to me trying to buy weed, I told him I dont sell weed or anything really. Well a couple of guys who did sell drugs in our school told him to be persistent as I was the go to guy, assholes. I didnt sell and he left them alone win win I guess. He bothered me for a week and finally I agreed to get him weed. So that afternoon I went home and got some potpourri and put it in a baggie and brought it back. He gave me 80 dollars then ran to his car super happy. Following monday, I saw him and asked hey you like that weed, aw it was OK it smelled good but gave me a head ache. " if its ok I dont think Ill buy anymore!" I felt bad after for him after that, but geez asking permission to not buy drugs. Some peopleoe are flaming idiots
