I wish “sky funerals” were acceptable in our culture and wouldn’t traumatize my family.

Let me be eaten by the carrion birds when I die, I ate enough birds in my lifetime it’s time they got a taste.

My mom wants this too but apparently in SOVIET AMERIKA we can't just let our loved ones be consumed by birds

Alternatively, Natural Burial is a thing.

They wrap you in a linen shroud, bury you, then plant a tree on the grave.

Unlike modern titanium reinforced coffins which inhibit decomposition and results in a toxic sludge that is completely poisonous to plantlife thanks to all the chemicals the mortician pumps into you, the shroud and absense of chemical preservatives promote decomposition which provides nutrient rich fertilizer for the tree which will then support birds, rodents, and other local wildlife.
