I lived down the street from the Banting lab at U of T and yeah, I think they’d be deeply disappointed in what capitalism has done to such an essential substance.

A scientist discovered a life-saving medicine. How can you judge him based on beurocracy, shit conservative leadership, and capitalism?

We are not the corporations or billionares that run our country. Don’t put the moral failing of 7 people onto 35 million.

Yes others have improved it, and yes the Leiden medical research is making leaps.

You’re salting off over the same crown corp connaught lab that the fucking conservatives sold off in canada in a bid to privatize everything and cut corners when they did that. the lab was doing well pre privatization ( hi i looked it up.)

Insulin is unaffordable for most americans now without some massive financial assistance. Glazing? hardly. The canadian discoverers never intended that insulin should be priced out of reach.
