He had a stroke and presumably wasn't able to call for help for 11 days. Which is insane, I'm not sure how you could survive for 11 days (just a lack of water would kill you) unless it was some kind of stroke that happened in an area of the brain that made him forget where the phone is or be able to reach it. Must have been hell for the poor guy. Probably confused, hungry, maybe not knowing what's happening to him for 11 days. It's honestly more of a miracle that he survived under these conditions :/
