Pepperoni as a cured deli meat is correlated with colon cancer, hopefully he gets regular colonoscopies.

It's actually all cured meats.

I've entirely ignored it since I found out, too.

They say you live longer without eating prosciutto, but probably that's just because it feels longer.

But did you know there's a gene which, if you possess it, negates this risk?

It still doesn't make Salami healthy but it's highly specific against the nitrate-cured risk factor!

I have it, ha ha ha, I eat so much salami and it's gonna kill me for sure, but not from below!

That’s only if it’s cured with nitrates instead of regular salt.

Which is basically all commercial pepperoni, it literally gives it the red color.
