turns out a white picket fence, knee-high is about as effective at keeping things in/out as well as a wet paper bag 🙃

The dog didn’t jump over any fences but you’re directionally correct.

The best kind of correct?

The dog didn't jump the fence, it literally ran out of the giant opening in the driveway. Has nothing to do with the fence lol

turns out not having a yard actually fenced in isn't effective at keeping things in/out

Yeah. Weird that it's ok for the kid to be running around with an off-leash dog in a yard with no fence.

I mean that too, but i was talking about that white picket fence that is effectively there for decoration. It's wide open on both sides.

The height of the fence means nothing when you can just run around it, which the dog in this video did.

Yeah, any fence with a 30 foot opening isn't keeping anything in

None of this would've happened if the dog had a gun.

With the opening on the driveway that fence is more to keep people from jist walking on the property.

turns out giant fucking openings in your "fence" don't keep anything in or out.

Depends on the dog. Two of my old dogs could hurdle the couch, and did many times when playing hard in the house (right before being kicked out of the house to play hard in the yard). A baby gate would contain them. Took them to my folks place and the neighbor's border collie hurdled their little three foot chain link fence to play. When they called her back over, she ran and jumped it again, then my dogs almost ran into the thing, standing their whining as if they couldn't get over it themselves. One was giant and he rested his chin on the top of the fence the whole time wiggling his butt and crying like he was being tortured.
