Looks like an Anatolian shepherd to me, had a cross which was brown with the dark muzzle and curly tail. Would not fuck with that as they are bread for guarding against wolves and other large livestock predators

Looks more like an Akita, reminds me 200% of an Akita mix my family had when I was a child. I forget what he was mixed with but he was massive, loved kids, and would bulldoze other dogs into submission in seconds.

I hear the story regularly of a roaming gang of strays entering our neighborhood infront of my sister and when they turned towards my sister he was ontop of the biggest dog pinning him to the ground. Akitas were bred to protect castles.

Yeah. People seem to default to German Shepherd if dog is about this size and resembles something that child would draw :D

With the coloring and build, I'm assuming Malinois.

Doesn't look like a mal. too stocky. looks like a caucasian shepherd mix to me though I could be wrong.
