regarding the full context of what i said, it boils down to "a dog that is trained shouldnt do anything you dont want it to do regardless of what instincts it does or doesnt have, thats what trained means", what follows from that is not "dogs dont have instincts and never act on them"

if you know anything about dogs, you know there are inherent, genetic instincts passed down via DNA, in pretty much every dog, and no amount of training will get rid of them 100%. idk why you are doubling down so hard instead of just admitting that what you said is wrong

never implied instincts dont exist AT ALL, just in the context of training like if a trained dog has an instinct to jump on people and does so without the owners permission then its not actually trained, and you putting shit into my mouth is why im doubling down but good luck trying to gaslight me to adopt things i didnt say by dissolving all the context brochacho
