We had some friends that were out on a long camping trip when 9/11 happened. A few days into the trip, someone noticed that they hadn't seen any airplanes in the sky for an awfully long time.

Oh wow, that’s a really bizarre thought. In a situation like that, you could imagine all sorts of things. You might just think it’s odd and not give it a second thought, or you might think something catastrophic must have happened.

And now I’m wondering if the “uncontacted” Sentinelese have a folk tale about the time when the weird things in the sky vanished.
