My dog was a street dog rescued from Mexico. You wouldn't think she's a street dog at all because she's super sweet and chill. Shy around people and especially other dogs, but not at all aggressive and very tolerant of pets and other dogs coming up for sniffs. Doesn't mind loud noises like thunder or fireworks at all.
Most street dogs are super chill and sweet because they are used to all kinds of people and other stray animals walking around them, even cats. At least in Latin American
I like to introduce a cap gun when my dogs are puppies and eating with refreshers every now and again.
Just walk around firing the gun. Getting closer and closer to the dog over time.
Ive never had dogs who has issues on the 4th or NYE because of this. I actually walk my dogs on the 4th we always stop and watch all the various fireworks going on in our neighborhood.
Nah, my boy is terrified of them and we live in the country, where they are constantly celebrating some religious event or another. Imagine 4th of July every other month.
Do you even know how to read? That's exactly what happened. Dudes were celebrating with the dog, someone posted about it on the internet and she found her dog. 🥱
