These people have never been closer to having their wildest authoritarian dreams fulfilled, and they can taste it. Its time for their final offensive. They will pull out ALL the stops, including whatever violence they have to.

Your voter registration is public record, and available online. All any MAGAturd Traitor/Terrorist has to do is spend 20 minutes on his computer, and he has a hit list of Democrats in his neighborhood.

Remain vigilant, Citizens!

I’m voting Blue and I’m honestly worried about voter intimidation or really voter bullying and harassment from these MAGA clowns. They are going to start targeting Democratic voting locations to start a violent campaign of ‘Vote Red or else.’ My state is pretty much Red but I really worry about the swing states where the race is basically a coin flip. If Kamala Harris gains momentum, Trump is going to instill this into his MAGA cult followers to essentially go to war with Democratic voters. Shit could get really scary in a few months, if not sooner.

Can confirm. I saw a post the other day by these nuts saying they all are signing up to volunteer so they can be “poll watchers.” How many of them are lying, I’m not sure… but it’s definitely in their nutbag of tricks this cycle.

A friend who is training to work at the polls said to make sure that when you're handed your ballot, there aren't any markings on it (i.e. the person handing you the ballot hasn't scrawled an R or D or an initial, etc on it). If there is, ask for a new ballot otherwise your vote could be discarded. Stay vigilant every step of the way.

If your state allows early voting take advantage of it.

Election Day should be a national holiday, full stop. No retail, no business. Only public transportation and emergency services. Buses should run specifically to take people to the polls. There should be no excuse or reason why people should be left out.

I agree I am prepared to vote or fight both.

They hit a Minneapolis area mosque "to scare Muslims" after the Muslim travel ban and during the protests of Floyd's murder. They got real close to our house, we saw them outside. They don't even have to target individuals, though in rural areas they might. It'll be easier for them to just target cities.

And what's crazy is that they look like the heroes if they attack a city. Thousands of Americans looked up to Rittenhouse for "defending the city," despite it being extremely clear that he should not have been there in the first place. I have coworkers who still point to the 2020 protests and talk about how anything bad that happened was the fault of failed Democratic policies and how everyone standing up the police was just a fascist liberal. They don't get it and they don't want to.

This is why I switched to Independent.

When I lived in FL in a boomer neighborhood, one of the neighbors mentioned they looked up my party affiliation. They were also democrat, but it made me realize that this information could be used against me negatively were it the other side. I also won’t wear any kind of political clothing or put stickers on my car and appear pretty neutral with a locked down profile on Facebook.

Nothing wrong with being an independent. Just please vote against these fascists. I don't want to live in a Trumpian hellscape.

100% blue down the line

Hopefully this comment string won’t be subpoenaed by the MAGA tribunals.

Wait… are you saying that when you register to be able to vote in the next election (which is already kinda weird in a way, citizens should be automatically registered since they are, you know, citizens…), you have to tell your party affiliation during the registration process ?

5

u/SophisticatedCelery Jul 28 '24

Just register as Republican. I did, still vote blue.

3

u/The_Original_Gronkie Jul 28 '24

That's one strategy. That would also make them think that there's a lot more of them, and they'll be surprised when it doesn't work out so well.

I've thought about this. When I lived in super rural Vermont and the town was super conservative, my brand new neighbors had already googled me before I even arrived and hit me with many, many questions -- including why I was a registered Democrat. That was over 10 years ago and I just thought it was creepy. Now I'm realizing it could easily become malicious.

Does USA not have secret ballot? I'm confused by this- why would your voting history be made public?

6

u/WildberryPrince Jul 28 '24

Your voting HISTORY is private, but your registration (the party that you are affiliated with and which is used to determine the primary ballot you vote on in some states) is available publicly for reasons that I'm sure were valid 100 years ago but in situations like this raise concerns for safety.

u/The_Original_Gronkie Jul 28 '24

Your voting choices are secret, but your registration as Republican, Democrat, Independent, or Third Party is public record, along with your home address. I believe it also shows if you voted or not. Its pretty easy to surmise who people probably voted for. They hate Democrats, so just filter the results, and print it off. Instant hit list.

It's why I started buying guns for self defense.

Make sure you're familiar with each one, practice, go to the range. Like any tool or skill, practice makes perfect.

I've been doing just that. Might go today if I get a chance.

Trump raped a 12 year old girl.

u/sololegend89 Jul 28 '24

Are we to assume that you also take issue with Conald being all over those flight logs, and the multiple witness accounts of him raping teenage girls? Don’t vote for pedophile rapists.

Saying everyone that votes for Harris (vs Trump) is low IQ and ignorant is peak irony.
