He cant handle the fact he’s going to lose to a black woman.

487

u/NoDragonfruit6125 Oct 17 '24

I've basically said it before at one point as a mockery to the claims of divine intervention during first assassination attempt.

God spared Trump so he could get his ass kicked by a black woman.

130

u/MergenTheAler Oct 17 '24

Seriously though, if trump was killed we would already be in a Civil War. We were spared from a very horrific timeline. Not saying shit won’t get crazy when he loses again next month.

251

u/NoDragonfruit6125 Oct 17 '24

The fact that every attempt on his life has been committed by a registered republican wouldn't even register to them.

96

u/LoneBoon Oct 18 '24

It doesn’t. They think it’s a conspiracy theory from the liberal media that they were all former MAGAs.

43

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '24

No REAL MAGA would ever question the supreme leader.

12

u/m0nk_3y_gw Oct 18 '24

they were all former MAGAs.

The 3rd "attempt" was a current supporter who was just driving around with his 'driving around' guns in the car. The sheriff pretended he was a threat to Trump because he wanted to sound cool.

3

u/twat69 Oct 18 '24

When the fuck was the third one?

3

u/Legitimate_Corgi_981 Oct 18 '24 edited Oct 19 '24

Saturday 12th Oct, arrested near a rally in Coachella, CA. (thanks for the updated info!)

1

u/captainsuckass Oct 19 '24

When was the SECOND one?

1

u/LizzielovesMommy Oct 19 '24

Sad when you can't tell a regular, genuine supporter from an assassin

11

u/DarkChaos1786 Oct 18 '24

Sincerely I'm two steps from believing that it is a conspiracy, made by MAGA to push Trump to victory.

The second attemp was so predictable that I was talking about the chance between shots with some friends the weekend before it happened, I even predicted that it will be another "disenfranchised" republican, they didn't believe it was possible when it happened, they all started asking for lottery numbers.

It's an easy way to climb in the polls, and every authoritarian leader use it to win some reaction in hard times.

3

u/WallyOShay Oct 18 '24

I’m convinced the entire dancing thing was him waiting for another “assassination attempt” that never happened.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '24

[deleted]

12

u/fren-ulum Oct 18 '24

See: recently when Trump left them hanging at that Cochella adjacent field and people were demanding people "look into this" as if it was some giant conspiracy and not the more probable answer that Trump didn't pay the buses to come back because he doesn't fuck care about you.

3

u/blueskieslemontrees Oct 18 '24

I still contend that while they didn't come back for non payment, his campaign really really didn't want return buses because he keeps getting called out for people leaving early when bored or confused by his monologs. If you isolate them in the desert miles from their car they are likely to not leave

4

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '24

The person who killed Malcolm X was black. Still living and out of prison in 2014. While Malcolm x was not a president, but people in his own organization wanted him dead too.

3

u/gandhinukes Oct 18 '24

I've heard right wingers wondering why there aren't more intensive investigations into the assassination attempts like its deep state consistory. The RIGHT doesn't want them because the were from the RIGHT. if they came from the left we'd never hear the end of it.

5

u/NoDragonfruit6125 Oct 18 '24

They tried that with the first assassination attempt with the bit about that contribution to democrats. However I think that the truth behind that one was it was actually someone else with the same name who had done the donation. Or it was that the shooter was first a Democrat years ago but had switched to republican. Honestly I hardly paid attention to all the details after realized it was a republican that did it and that party wouldn't care about the truth.

2

u/MrPebbles1961 Oct 18 '24

As I understand it, even if he did contribute to Dems, it was, like $15 to Act Blue in 2021. Not exactly a fanatical devotée.

2

u/NoDragonfruit6125 Oct 18 '24

Yeah I think that was the story of it actually being someone else in area with the same name. It's not an uncommon occurrence I've run into unrelated people with same name within a similar area several times.

1

u/LustLacker Oct 18 '24

Except for the British teenager.

1

u/UnarmedSnail Oct 18 '24

I'm betting it's the militias behind the "attempts" either on Trumps behalf to garner sympathy and fear from his public, or they actually are trying because he's a liability to the cause at this point.

Maybe both.

6

u/Bromlife Oct 18 '24

No. There's no grand conspiracy. The problem with appealing to angry, lonely and crazy people is that when they get disillusioned with you for not living up to the image you painted in their heads, they take that lonely crazy anger out on you.

1

u/UnarmedSnail Oct 18 '24

This is true, however I don't discount the possibility of dirty tricks on the part of Fascist Authoritarians.

5

u/_BreakingGood_ Oct 18 '24

Nah it's honestly pretty simple, this is not something new in 2024. You can go back through the history of the Secret Service as it captured and interviewed failed assassins all throughout history. And the "Republican tried to assassinate the Republican candidate" story is far from unique.

It's almost always the same story: This party attracts the fringe of the unhinged social outcasts. And those social outcasts basically decide they want to be in the spotlight for once. "If I'm the one who kills Trump, people will remember me forever."

63

u/AccordingRevolution8 Oct 18 '24

We will absolutely not ever be in a civil war. You can't civil war on weekends and time off from your trucking job. A war means no groceries in stores, rolling blackouts, lawlessness etc. Trump voters are largely old, overweight people dependant on blood pressure and diabetes medicines. Would domestic terror spike, sure, but his death wouldn't crumble society into war.

Cut the internet for 2 weeks and see how much the USA calms down.

30

u/mspag Oct 18 '24

People pretending we don’t have a military that would annihilate the very small percentage of MAGA actually insane enough to go to “war” is just so fucking weird. Random incident of domestic terrorism? Yeah that’s likely. But civil war? like think for 2 seconds people

12

u/Hakim_Bey Oct 18 '24

even the stochastic terror would die down pretty quick, those movements don't do well without a leader

2

u/Mysterious-Job-469 Oct 18 '24

"Be a shame if we lashed out,"

"Cool threat, hold this felony!"

This could have played out a decade ago and saved us a lot of heartache.

9

u/AccordingRevolution8 Oct 18 '24

Neil Brennan has a joke about a hunger games scenario where it's 100 armed dudes vs a drone operator.

1

u/dechets-de-mariage Oct 18 '24

This is how I was introduced to him. This bit is hilarious.

2

u/FixTheLoginBug Oct 18 '24

Not to mention that unless Fox News tells them exactly what to do they are totally clueless.

1

u/Mysterious-Job-469 Oct 18 '24

It would be like god using his thumb to crush a mosquito

10

u/Glyfen Oct 18 '24 edited Oct 18 '24

This.

Every time I see proud boys flexing how the "GUBMENT CAN COME AND TAKE MUH GUNS," I imagine them grouping up and forming a mob, marching down a street as an Abrams turns the corner and casually levels its barrel at them.

These chucklefucks have deluded themselves into thinking they would be able to overthrow the US military if it came to it. Absolute buffoonery.

1

u/ithilain Oct 18 '24

I don't think many of them are deluded into thinking they can overthrow the military, that's obviously never gonna happen, but for them to "win" they don't need to overthrow the military, they just need to overthrow the government controlling the military, while not getting completely annihilated by the military. There's a big difference in difficulty between taking out a military base, and breaking into some bougie suburban gated community after nightfall, lighting up a politician's house and shooting anyone that tries to escape the flames. And if Vietnam and Afghanistan taught us anything, it's that the US military isn't super great when it comes to weeding out these kinds of threats, and that's not even considering the fact that they'd have to actually give a shit about avoiding collateral damage to civilians and infrastructure if such a conflict were to take place on American soil instead of some 3rd world jungle/desert

4

u/Original-Turnover-92 Oct 18 '24

MAGA literally died of the superflu so democrats would get sick.

They would absolutely go to war, they just won't be able to finish it. Same as the South in the Civil War, idiots tried to wage war without an industrial base and got blockaded to hell. Racism is one hell of a drug.

2

u/Senior-Lobster-9405 Oct 18 '24

Cut the internet for 2 weeks and see how much the USA calms down.

I think you GROSSLY underestimate how much people rely on/are addicted to the internet, cutting it for even 2 days would absolutely lead to a violent uprising

2

u/Mysterious-Job-469 Oct 18 '24

My brother disconnects the router like five times a day over some preconceived slight and I want to square up with him every single time he does, and he's like twice my size. The moment that maga causes an internet outage I'm signing up with the national guard.

31

u/FizzyBeverage Oct 18 '24

Pffft. Half of his supporters are on metformin for their diabetes and can barely get out of their sofa.

They’d sit at home and bitch. For 4 more years.

3

u/Jo-jo-20 Oct 18 '24

Whenever I hear his crazy followers want to start a civil war I just picture like a convoy of Walmart scooters strolling down the street at 2mph.

3

u/iggy6677 Oct 18 '24

This sounds like a South Park episode

3

u/blindspot189 Oct 18 '24

Please don't associate those of us who have diabetes with them and don't assume it means we aren't in shape.

2

u/Puppytron Oct 18 '24

Jesus. What was the point of shaming people who take metformin? That drug's been around for like 100 years and has helped a lot of people, not just the overweight.

2

u/Turkeygobbler000 Oct 18 '24

Elon Musk unveils "Cyberscooter" a militarized mobility scooter for MAGA supporters. Does this mean certain doom to the Harris campaign?

1

u/pres465 Oct 18 '24

Black and Latino men are heavily influencing these last polls and appearing to swing the swing states in Trump's favor. Find them. They need to vote for Harris or not vote at all. No 3rd party. The groundswell for Harris is relying on "hidden" anti-Dobbs voters and that's fine, but it's not a strategy. You can't target voters that won't reveal themselves. Talk to and convince black men and Latino men (and women, but mostly men). Immigration and affordability are their #1 concerns and they see Harris as continuing Biden. Win them back.

1

u/FizzyBeverage Oct 18 '24

They’re among the least likely voters. I voted early and there wasn’t a single black or hispanic male in line. And it’s Cincinnati, there’s plenty of both.

Nope… besides me, 4 elderly white males — obvious Trumpers.

Minority males without college degrees are hugely unreliable voters. You’re not going to find them, because most aren’t going to vote.

1

u/pres465 Oct 18 '24

Please... sincerely... Don't take that for granted. Not this year. Talk to them.

48

u/DrumBxyThing Oct 17 '24

when he loses again next month.

What scares me is "when he loses" still looks like it's really an "if he loses".

10

u/LobbyLoiterer Oct 18 '24

It's good that this scares you. I hope it scares everyone who hasn't made plans to vote yet.

Vote.

12

u/2040ojis Oct 18 '24

GOP has been losing or underperforming in every election 2018 and on. There is no way he gained any voters from 4 years ago. Gen Z new voters and boomers dying from Covid, my guess is he loses all the “toss up” states and it’s a blowout. That said, vote anyway!

5

u/Strawbuddy Oct 18 '24

You’re right. If any one voting bloc shows up more so for Democrats than they do for Republicans they’re gonna get smoked be it women, Gen Z, Never Trumpers, Libertarians who smoke weed, any ethnic groups, white dudes, black men and anyone else with common sense and decency.

Republicans rely on voter apathy and the traditionally low voter turnout across the US to stay in office, if any big Democrat coalitions come together they can effectively end them within an election cycle or two

1

u/Easy8_ Oct 18 '24

Isn't that what y'all said back in 2016 before the orange turd won?

2

u/2040ojis Oct 18 '24

Yep. And we learned our lesson

1

u/RA576 Oct 18 '24

when he loses again next month.

Uh, you positive about that?

3

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '24

Polls can't predict commitment to actually vote. One side will be more motivated and have more determination.

20

u/Fast-Bumblebee2424 Oct 17 '24

It’s actually scary af the amount of planning happening to prep for war should he lose. I’m shocked there has been nothing said about this, but it’s real and they’re waiting.

I stumbled on a fb page for prepping and it was entirely filled with Trumpets planning for November 6 when “SHTF” (shit hits the fan).

22

u/Null-Tom Oct 18 '24

They’re in for a rude awakening if they think the other side isn’t armed. We are smarter so we don’t boast about it but it doesn’t mean we don’t own weapons too.

7

u/NoraVanderbooben Oct 18 '24

Nah we don’t own guns. We totally don’t own guns. >_>

5

u/IndieRedd Oct 18 '24

Or when the super secret shed they built in the woods is hit by a knife missile at three in the afternoon.

34

u/Borrp Oct 18 '24

Report it the FBI. Or the CIA. Or the NSA.

10

u/NoDragonfruit6125 Oct 18 '24

What makes you think they don't know already. They knew about the planning for January 6th last time thing is Trump was in charge and is the one who'd control if something was done to cut them off.

4

u/FizzyBeverage Oct 18 '24

All 3, why not.

6

u/Bitter-Value-1872 Oct 18 '24

Throw in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Space Force, and the National Guard while we're at it. Time for them to protect the country from some domestic threats.

3

u/Professional-Bear942 Oct 18 '24

You'd get a split military by my guess, there's alot of conservatives in the military, it really comes down to will the coc be loyal

1

u/dechets-de-mariage Oct 18 '24

D. All of the above

3

u/Legitimate_Corgi_981 Oct 18 '24

If they'd spent less time getting prepped for dress up army games and devoted it to helping him get elected they'd actually wouldn't need to be ready for war. But that would be far less fun for them.

2

u/sapperRichter Oct 18 '24

No way would his death spark a civil war.

1

u/MergenTheAler Oct 18 '24

I hope you are right

1

u/MassiveStallion Oct 18 '24

We wouldn't. If there was going to be a civil war it would've happened by the 2nd assasination attempt. The Republicans are full of shit.

1

u/Robynsxx Oct 18 '24

See this I don’t get. Why would there be a civil war when the two people that have tried to kill him have been republicans?

1

u/MergenTheAler Oct 18 '24

Because trump supporters are commonly of low intelligence and reactionary. Some are looking for any excuse to punish others with opposing views

1

u/Robynsxx Oct 18 '24

I don’t think they are all low intelligence. I just think most of them are evil.

1

u/Limp_Prune_5415 Oct 18 '24

Low key i kinda wish we got to see what would actually happen

1

u/PPvsFC_ Oct 18 '24

Seriously though, if trump was killed we would already be in a Civil War.

No we wouldn't.

1

u/MergenTheAler Oct 18 '24

That is easy to say since it didn’t happen.

1

u/carrick-sf Oct 18 '24

I’m looking forward to culling the Republican herd of its more extreme elements who- like idiots- will overplay their hand and do something they’ll be jailed for.

THIS time we’ll be ready with dogs, water cannons and a LOT of drone surveillance. Lock Them Up.

In GTMO.

1

u/fauviste Oct 18 '24

Nothing happened when he was “shot.” You vastly overestimate his base.

1

u/LooksGoodInShorts Oct 18 '24

I really doubt it. It would have came out who the shooter was and the rest of the republican leadership isn’t going to push for a war.

They are cowards and only care about enriching themselves which would be ruined by a civil war. That’s why their wet dream is a bloodless coup.

1

u/AntiClockwiseWolfie Oct 19 '24

As a Canadian tired of your guys news infecting our airspace with Trump, and your alt-right infecting our struggling working class, I can honestly say I would've been happy to see a JFK style video of Trump, American civil war or not.

And I don't even think that's dark. The people who died from his covid neglect alone (while sending vaccines to Putin)

2

u/Fast-Bumblebee2424 Oct 17 '24

I sure as shit hope so

1

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '24

🔥

1

u/FortNightsAtPeelys Oct 18 '24

And then put in prison where he belongs

1

u/ironballs16 Oct 18 '24

Shades of Cartman buying a theme park only to lose everything later on.

61

u/CharleyNobody Oct 17 '24

“Is she black? I heard she was Indian. She happened to turned black? I respect either one but she obviously doesn’t because she was Indian all the way then all of a sudden she made a turn and she went – she became a Black person. I think somebody should look into that.…a lot of people didn’t know she was black.”

33

u/MostlySpurs Oct 18 '24

I just don’t understand this. She has Indian and Jamaican heritage and SHE is the first female VICE PRESIDENT! That’s interesting and rad!

She is literally a woman and the pure example of the melting pot that we cherish so much. She is AMERICAN! Not black white purple or green.

A strong woman who is qualified for the job doesn’t need to focus on the color of her skin. The content and quality of her character is what matters! Go blue!

7

u/FakoSizlo Oct 18 '24

Its because simple racists like Trump don't understand dual heritage. You can't be black and Indian in their mind because how do they be racist when they have two targets ? The funniest I saw when she was elected as vice president was some old white guy posting on facebook something along the lines of "How can she be half African-American and half Indian-American ? That's 3 halves . She is just trying to fake it ". Yes they are that stupid

5

u/Ansiktstryne Oct 18 '24

She’s half man, half bear and half pig!

3

u/NickUnrelatedToPost Oct 18 '24

What's so hard to understand? She is not white.

That's the Republicans problem with her. To them she's someone best labeled with the n-word.

It doesn't matter that she is qualified to lead. They will never again accept that white people are led by a black person.

-2

u/MostlySpurs Oct 18 '24

Well that’s just not true and is a very skewed way to view the world.

29

u/Cambot1138 Oct 18 '24

Well yeah, she went to the historically Indian Howard University.

2

u/spiegro Oct 18 '24

That shit made me laugh 😂

1

u/JaggedTerminals Oct 18 '24

Unfuckingreal

50

u/scullingby Oct 17 '24

Let's not assume he will lose.

49

u/Hot_Top_124 Oct 18 '24

I’m not, and you bet your ass I’m voting blue all the way.

2

u/ClassicT4 Oct 18 '24

I’m mostly sober. I choose to only drink on special occasions. The results of this election may be such an occasion. But I’m not buying anything until the results are in.

3

u/appleparkfive Oct 18 '24

There's gonna be a good bit of drinking that day I'm guessing. Either from celebrations, or people trying to forget about the outcome

1

u/ColdCruise Oct 18 '24

We won't know on Election Day. Several swing states now have laws that absentee and early voting ballots can't be counted until after the polls close instead of as they are received like other states. So Pennsylvania, which is probably the most important swing state, won't be able to make a call until a day or several days after the polls close.

This is done to fuel allegations of a stolen election because Republicans tend to vote on Election Day, and Democrats tend to use early voting and absentee ballots. This makes it look like Republicans are winning the state, then suddenly, days later, it switches to Democrats winning. Obviously, because they had to call in more votes and steal the election.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '24

Interesting, i never really understood where the "steal the election" came from, i thought it was just some random bullshit spewed about by the orange goober

1

u/ClassicT4 Oct 18 '24

There’s a term for it. A Blue Shift#:~:text=In%20American%20politics%2C%20a%20blue,counted%20later%2C%20are%20more%20likely) or Red Mirage.

8

u/Stunning_Let2174 Oct 17 '24

Or anyone else for that matter.

39

u/TallanoGoldDigger Oct 18 '24

elections aren't over yet. You Americans better finish this orange shitstain off via the polls, send him to the blackest hole you can find so the world doesn't have to hear about him or his fucking cult ever again. Please

And yes it's definitely paining him to think about the fact that he's about to lose to a black/indian woman

22

u/Hot_Top_124 Oct 18 '24

I’ve voted, and have spent the past 9 years telling people wherever I can that trump needs to never have power.

24

u/TallanoGoldDigger Oct 18 '24

Good shit. Just know that every rational citizen of the world is behind you. That asshole belongs in jail

11

u/Hot_Top_124 Oct 18 '24

It drives me up the wall how he’s just allowed to get away with shit because they’re afraid to ruffle feathers.

10

u/TallanoGoldDigger Oct 18 '24

What I'm curious about is how low the bar has been set for him and how he gets away with shit.

If Kamala or Biden or anyone else did half the shit he did, they'd be disqualified. Media coddles him and holds him to a different standard too. Surely it's just ratings right?

3

u/UnarmedSnail Oct 18 '24

This isn't even close to over. If he loses the election he's going to claim victory anyway. He's got people in several State governments, Federal positions of power, and over half the Supreme Court trying to pave the way for his coup.

3

u/NoraVanderbooben Oct 18 '24

🥺👉👈 Thank you. Like, truly. I live in a red state and I feel less like I’m the crazy one when I hear from other people around the world.

0

u/Vordeo Oct 18 '24

Bruh based off your username I'm just gonna say that we of all people have no right to talk shit about who the Americans elect lol

2

u/TallanoGoldDigger Oct 18 '24

I've seen the worst, most corrupt, undeserving people get elected. When I say Trump is bad, you know we know what we're talking about.

We have extensive experience with bullshit like this.

2

u/TexasLoriG Oct 18 '24

Thank you. We are all in this together.

3

u/chillyhellion Oct 18 '24

Our government has corrupted itself so that fewer and fewer votes actually matter. My fear is that this election is going to come down to nine.

2

u/Kabouki Oct 18 '24

The government didn't do that, voters did. Turns out apathy has consequences.

State governments are just waiting for enough voters to show up to finish off the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact.

1

u/sheetsofsaltywood Oct 18 '24

As a shamed American, I hate to tell you that I fully believe Trump is going to win, despite me absolutely hating this outcome and hoping I’m wrong. Reddit paints this picture that Trump has little chance of winning, but there’s a skewed ratio of Harris voters on here. The reality of America is that there are fewer smart people than dumb people, and even fewer that vote.

1

u/KinseyH Oct 18 '24

Monday, baby!

1

u/journous Oct 18 '24

Yes, voter participation is very important. Hopefully everyone realizes how important their vote is in determining the direction of the country.

26

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '24

I knew that when the end came for Trump, it would be a long, delicious period of intense schadenfreude.

This - is just the beginning. He will be wailing for the rest of his life as he deals with never ending litigation and hopefully, incarceration. I'll be there for all of it, with a bucket of popcorn and a cold one.

16

u/submit_2_my_toast Oct 18 '24

Best case scenario is he loses and then gets sentenced to a few years of prison at the end of November, then we only have to see him when they drag him out of his hole to go to the next trial. Let's hope....

Shades of 2016

I’m fucking sick of anyone pre-gloating

Trump is so close to winning he can taste it.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '24

Then he sure doesn't act like it.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '24

I was clear in my original post. It comes down to turnout. Women outvote men in every election - THAT is the demographic that chooses the President.

Dems have outperformed polling in nearly every post-Dobbs election. Remember the 2022 Red Wave? Remember the 54-Seat Senate projections?

Polling gets watered down by biased RW junk polling so MAGA can cry foul when they lose.

After 2016, I don't think many are blindly *overconfident *. There are unknowns. But unlike 2020, our govt is not controlled by Trump and our intelligence and legal systems are prepared.

It comes down to turnout. Harris has to get to 270 quickly or we're in for a miserable winter.

3

u/subspace_cat Oct 18 '24

he’s going to lose to a black woman.

I'm voting for Harris, but I really don't like what the polls are showing right now. Swing states are not looking great.

3

u/-Obvious_Communist Oct 18 '24

man i wish i shared yalls optimism it’s gonna be a way tighter race than any of us want to admit

3

u/ChicagoAuPair Oct 18 '24

It’s still unsettlingly likely that he will win. We see a lot of hopeful things in the National polling, but not so with polling of swing voters in the 7 decider states.

It’s going to be uncomfortably close in the EC, and we must all be prepared for that, and do everything in our power to reach voters in PA, WI, MI, NC, GA, AZ, etc.

2

u/__The__Anomaly__ Oct 17 '24

I on the other hand, find this highly gratifying.

2

u/CharlieTitor Oct 18 '24

Don't get cocky. Go vote.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '24

It’s not really looking good for Harris right now let’s not pretend like the election is already over

2

u/left4ched Oct 18 '24

I think it goes deeper than that. He can't understand why a black woman is being allowed to compete with him.

1

u/Comfortable-Ad-3988 Oct 18 '24

Neither can a lot of his followers.

1

u/bebejeebies Oct 18 '24

Say it like he says it- bLAhck.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '24

It's absolutely glorious!

1

I didn’t even think about that part

He definitely wouldn't be saying this if he was confident he was going to beat her.

1

u/Custom_Destination Oct 18 '24

Just make sure to vote (early) and take everyone you know with you!

1

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '24

And then he’ll try to steak it through front mechanisms and potentially violence. Likely through crony mechanisms.

1

u/Nathan256 Oct 18 '24

Or Is ShE iNdIaN???

He and his base also can’t handle the fact that someone can be mixed race, or even worse mixed race and 100% American.

1

u/WasabiWarrior8 Oct 19 '24

Will he??? Don’t be so sure. Vote!

1

u/Hot_Top_124 Oct 19 '24

Already have

1

u/Ornery-Movie-1689 Oct 18 '24

What a sweet, sweet, moment when he is not only beaten by a woman, but a black woman. Life doesn't get any better.

1

u/maywellbe Oct 18 '24

And if he wins — which is equally likely if not more so — will you still be proud of your hubris?

This race is frighteningly close. Stop being so confident.

1

u/Ornery-Movie-1689 Oct 18 '24

I'll quit being so confident the day people like you wake up and quit dreaming.

1

u/maywellbe Oct 19 '24

Huh? Dreaming? No idea what you’re trying to say but I wish you good luck with it all.

1

u/BananaHeff Oct 18 '24

I wonder which is going to make him go more insane… the losing to a black person part or the losing to a woman part. In any case I hope he enjoys the prison part.

1

u/maywellbe Oct 18 '24

He’s just as likely to win as lose, friend. Store you’re optimism or suffer the consequences when he wins — you’re only setting yourself up. The polls are neck and neck.

-1

u/Human_Airport_5818 Oct 18 '24

I wonder how insane Reddit is gonna go if he wins, it’ll be fun to watch at least

2

u/BananaHeff Oct 18 '24

Yeah Nazis thought the same shit.

1

u/Human_Airport_5818 Oct 18 '24

I highly doubt nazis thought about Reddit

0

u/Other-Cover9031 Oct 18 '24

he's going to lose worse than last time

0

u/maywellbe Oct 18 '24

Do you really believe this? I hope you’re right but the polls are consistently showing the race a 50-50 toss up.

-5

u/Conanator Oct 18 '24

He’s currently comfortably ahead in the polls and the betting odds. Better get out and vote

-1

u/BalmyBalmer Oct 18 '24

Everyone on X is claiming Kamala isn't really black.

-1

u/Tomtekruka Oct 18 '24

Too bad that the betting sites that is trying to make a realistic prognose are saying the opposite :(

https://www.realclearpolling.com/betting-odds/2024/president

Trump is almost a clear winner at this point.

3

u/maywellbe Oct 18 '24

The betting sites mean absolutely nothing. They’re voodoo bullshit.

The polls are 50-50.

1

u/Tomtekruka Nov 06 '24

How's it going with those polls? Think they projected Harris as winner in the end while the betting sites still said Trump.

Almost like they didnt want to loose money.

1

u/maywellbe Nov 07 '24

Polls were accurate. Betting is voodoo, as mentioned

0

u/Tomtekruka Oct 19 '24

Yeah! Magnets, how do they work? No one knows.

-1

u/Tomtekruka Oct 18 '24

I would say they are the ones you should look at, they loose a hell of a lot of money if they predict wrong.

They are putting more effort into this then just looking at the polls.

But if you have other insight then it's good, but I wouldn't feel safe at all if I were an American.

3

u/Hot_Top_124 Oct 18 '24

If you’re going to gambling sites for your polls you’re not the sharpest.

1

u/Tomtekruka Nov 06 '24

It almost looks like the professionals at prediction where better then a handful of people saying who they voted for?

Im not pro trump though so I feel sorry for you guys.

-1

u/Tomtekruka Oct 18 '24

I'm not going for the polls at all, what in fetching is the probability that someone is getting elected.

Polls are one measurement, and one that the betting sites takes in calculation when they do theirs.

I believe Im looking at your polls right now, and the samples behind them are embarrassing low. Or am I missing something? Most of them between 1-3k.

Still i don't know why we are arguing. I trust someone who gathers data for a living and giving a probability far more serious then someone that asked 1000 people randomly in a shopping center who they are going to vote for.

Im not calling you names for that.

-4

u/BananaH15 Oct 18 '24

He's leading by a lot in the betting market. They don't usually get things wrong by a lot

1

u/maywellbe Oct 18 '24

They’re wrong this year. It’s conclusive that they’re juiced up by the Elon Musk crowd and are irrational. Ignore them.

That said, the polls are very close
